I hope it's one of those portraits where it shifts as you look at it in different angles. Maybe it has an effect of winking as you walk by.

The other art that artist has done is really interesting. But it seems, with the artist's fascination with texture, that depicting a young woman is not his forte. As an sometime artist - I have to admit - older people are more interesting to draw/paint.

The picture looks alright to me. Yeah the frontal is a bit boring, but nothing to lose your head about.

I have to admit though i have no idea who Kate Middleton is nor what she looks like.
