Hi everyone. I am new to RPG. But i am interested in off-line play due to cost. Even tho I sorta enjoyed Call of Duty(?) its not what i want to play. I am a science/nature pantheist in my real life, and would like to try a game similar. I would like to be a human, wizard, fey, and deity nature based.

Also it would be nice to be able use my Logitech controller.

Does anyone have any idea where i should start. Reading a bit earlier i saw someone mention basic rpg fantasy. Is that an actual game?

any help would be great and i am really appreciative of your time.

Um, with "off-line play" do you mean non-MMO or actually without using a computer?

Cause for the former it might be the wrong place to ask. But you can try the Gamer Life section of the Paizo boards.

Um...I assume "offline" means non-MMO and that "Logitec controller" means PC-based system.
So how about:

Dragon Age: Origins?
Ragnarok?
Myst?
Skyrim?
Kingdoms of Amalur?
Baldurs Gate?
Maybe Torchlight?
Or Malice.

I liked Portal, and don't see it as a traditional FPS. It's more a puzzle game, and fun as can be! But then again, I like bashing my head against things until I figure them out. :D
