-2 wild shape

Rules Questions

Would it be correct that the -2 druid level means you don't get wild shape at will at level 20?

At 6th level, a saurian shaman’s wild shape ability functions at her druid level –2. If she takes on the form of a reptile or a dinosaur, she instead uses her druid level +2.

My interpretation would be "no Wild Shape at will for anything but reptiles at level 20, but they get At Will for reptiles at level 18".

well at least to the other forms

Dark Archive

I would imagine that you'd still have to wait to 20 to get the Capstone.

But yeah, you wouldn't get to Wild Shape at will into any form. But if I recall correctly, there are dinosaur Wild Shapes for pretty much everything, so it's probably not a bad deal! :)

Thanks guys sorry for this one not being typed out so clearly. I was killing zombies at the same time :D!

Rynjin looks correct.

Your Dino/Reptile shape is treated 2 levels better, so you're effectively at 20 when you're only actually at 18.

Everything else is 2 levels worse, so at 20 you're still only effectively at 18.

As far as I can see on a quick glance of the books, nothing confussing in the RAW of this one.
