I wonder if we could categorize the blogs into topic areas, so for example if I wanted to know about mainly PvP issues, or PvE, or Economy, etc. I think that would be mega-useful to new folks.
I'd like to keep the main list of Blogs chronological. However, that's a great idea to create a side list that categorizes them like that. I'll see what I can do.
Thought I'd give this a nudge for the latest round of backers.

I expect we'll be seeing a lot of new folks around in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to try to keep this thread from falling off the bottom of the list.

In general, I've tried to limit it to descriptions of what the devs have said, rather than player-generated ideas. There's just far too much subjectivity involved in trying to judge those.
I'd be more than happy to include a "Popular Player Ideas" list, though. I'd want completely objective criteria for inclusion though. How does this sound?
I will only list Threads, not individual posts. The Original Post in the Thread would have to have at least 7 Favorites. I can either posts the ones I see, or anyone can point me at one that qualifies.

re: "Popular Player Ideas" Sounds good to me in that typically the higher quality posts usually float to the top, as it were.
Side note, to be honest I do not think there is anything wrong with being subjective, as long as it is backed up with a strong argument.

Just a note, I've updated the PFOFan.com wiki so that any chartered companies that have a thread and are listed in the land rush are in a sort able table where you can sort on name, alignment, focus, timezone.

I don't want to use my own subjective opinion because I'm very opinionated and I don't want to be excluding popular ideas just because I don't like them.
I've created a Suggested Reading - Popular Player Threads list, and added it to the Guild Recruitment & Helpful Links list.

Thanks Nihimon for putting this together.
One thing that I'd like to know is which time zone that each CC is based in. I'm GMT+10 so am outside of US and EU prime time and as a consequence I've spent quite a lot of time in MMO's looking for people to group with - there have been a few exceptions that have had allocated servers etc.
I'm not asking for anyone to undertake this, just something that may need consideration when CC's are listing themselves.

The Seventh Veil is recruiting players from all over the world. We already have a number of players across the entire US, as well as several in Europe. One of our newest members is in the Czech Republic.
I expect most of the larger guilds will want to have members in as many time zones as possible.

The Keepers of the Circle also has recruits across all time-zones.
I suspect a settlement that limits itself to one timezone will be severely disadvantaged.
However the Charter Companies within a settlement may need to be more time-zone focused.
