Racial Evolution?

So I'm going over the updated PFS additional resources file,(Current as of 11/28/2012)and I notice that under the Advanced Race Guide it mentions "racial evolutions" are allowed. What are racial evolutions? I can't find anything referencing them.

New Evolutions

The following evolutions are available to all summoners.
2-Point Evolutions
Shadow Blend (Su): In any condition of illumination
other than bright light, the eidolon disappears into the
shadows, giving it concealment (20% miss chance). If
it has the shadow form evolution, it instead gains total
concealment (50% miss chance). The eidolon can suspend
or resume this ability as a free action.
Shadow Form (Su): The eidolon’s body becomes shadowy
and more indistinct. This shadow form grants the eidolon
constant concealment (20% miss chance), and its melee
attacks affect incorporeal creatures as if it had the ghost
touch weapon property. The eidolon’s melee attacks deal
only half damage to corporeal creatures.

This, the additional resources restrict it to fetchling only, despite that it says any summoner can take it.

"Evolutions" are class abilities of the summoner class.

When I saw this thread was called "racial evolution," I thought it referred to the fact that tons of halflings now have 30 ft. movement naturally.

But only outside of Cheliax sir. All the halflings with 20' move were captured fleeing their oppressors. The halflings with 30+ moves fled to freedom and populated the rest of Avistan!

Ok. I'm aware of evolutions being Summoner abilities for his or her eidolon, but thanks for that info. My question was for the updated Pathfinder Society Additional Resources file. Under the Advanced Race Guide entry it lists "Racial Evolutions". I'm interesed in finding what they are, not Eidolon Evolutions. Thanks in advance for any info.

When did halflings get speed 30?

The "Racial Evolutions" ARE Eidolon Evolutions that are only available to specific races, in this case, the Fetchling. That is what the Additional Resource is discussing.

In the ARG, the halflings have an alternate racial trait "Fleet of Foot" that can give the halfling a base move of 30'.

Also a halfling cleric with the Travel domain would have a 30' move...

What would a halfling cleric 3/barbarian 3 with the Travel domain, the "fleet of foot" alternate racial trait and two feats worth of "Fleet" have for move? ;)

(This could be a fun exercise--build the fastest halfling in the world.)

The Exchange 5/5

Halfling "fleet of foot" - 30'
Travel Domain = +10'
Barbarian Fast Movement = +10'
Longstrider spell (domain spell) = +10' for 1 hour per level
Travel Domain "Agile Feet" (ignore all difficult terrain for rounds)
Fleet = +5' per feat taken

so a halfling cleric 2/barbarian 1 with travel domain, "fleet of foot", and two feats worth of "Fleet" would have a move of 70' for two hours if he cast Longstrider - and he would be able to move this thru difficult terrain for at least a few rounds (likely 6 or 7 rounds).

... does he have mouse ears and say "a'ndele! - a'ndele!" as he runs by.

Good heavens, it *is* an hour per level. I thought it was an hour, period. Oh, now *that* is interesting....

Don't forget to make sure they can stack, that they aren't the same kind of speed bonus.

Halfling "fleet of foot" - 30' = untyped
Travel Domain = +10' = untyped
Barbarian Fast Movement = +10' = untyped
Longstrider spell (domain spell) = +10' for 1 hour per level = enhancement
Fleet = +5' per feat taken = untyped

Nice.

The Exchange 1/5

Halfling Druid (Wolf Shaman)2 / Barbarian 1 / Monk (martial Artist)3+

Base 20
Fleet of foot +10
Travel Domain +10
Barabarian +10
Monk +10(+)
-------
Base Speed 60+

Longstrider +10
Aspect of the Wolf +20

So by 6th level speed 90 halfling (not counting any Fleet feat bonuses)

Dark Archive 4/5

Longstrider, Aspect of the Wolf, and Monk Speed boosts are all Enhancement bonuses to landspeed and dont stack you get the highest
