How many Ioun stones can a char have buzzing around his head at once?

There is no limit. Just keep in mind that many of their effects do not stack and that having a thousand and one of them won't grant your character cover or concealment.

Thanks

Sovereign Court

So I'm in, I haven't quite decided on what but I am in on this. As of right now I'm going to bring either an Alchemist/Monk or a Barbarian to the party.

The Exchange

I'm just waiting on the word on guns...

The Exchange

I think this would be a lot of fun as a Hunger Games style campaign. Although, the characters would have to be low level. That way, the Casters don't eat up the non-casty-mcwimps. If someone were to make it, I'd join. AND I'D LOVE IT.

Str Ranger here.

See avatar for my offering. Only 1/2 done but I'm doing a Hexcrafter Magus.

Check my gear list for anything illegal. Not sure if the Figurine of Wondrous Power: Bronze Griffon is allowed.

Based on everything posted by the OP, nothing in your post sounds out of bounds.

EDIT: Oh, you're considered your griffon might be considered an intelligent item? If so, I'm pretty sure the OP was referring to these kinds of intelligent items.

Should we move this to the PBP threads?

Probably.

Where are those threads?

Right here.

You can use all rules in the books so: 2 Traits, Archtypes, Favorite class swaps etc.

Does that mean everyone has Hero Points as well then?

I'll have about 20 of them in my haversack, with a variety of charges from 2 to 20.
Your wands will make a nice addition to my collection once I take them from you in the arena. ;D

Yes you will have Hero points. 11 hero points at beginning of competition.

Silver Crusade

here is the threat for recruitment.

exactly. I didn't want anyone to build intelligent swords or other items. stuff that is priced and prebuilt is fine to purchase.

There's a threat for recruitment!?!?!?!

You do know that it's impossible to have more than 3 without feats, right?

It's probably best not to let people use rules that you are not readily familiar with.

Also, you haven't answered the question about my character's Improved Natural Armor feats.

Well, I guess I don't have a choice then. I'm in. ;P

(Nice web site by the way.)

I would love to do something like this in on the "GameSpace" platform that paizo is going to release.

ugh i missed that. i ready 1 per level. didn't see the max. Just changed it to 3. whew thought it was a bit crazy.

So...are the Bestiary feats okay (all, some, or none)?

Cause if I can't use Improved Natural Armor, I'm going to want to invest in some armor.

Dark Archive

Considering an entry for this. One recommendation, which might not be popular with the folks who are already build is to limit single purchases to half, or even 1/3 of total gold. I see this rule often for balance and suspect there are some pretty broken items available if can drop 80K on a single item.

The Exchange

I prefer no limits on money spent other than WBL but most sane people do indeed limit it to 1/2.

Building up my siege mage as we speak, with mwangi expanse druid spells.. do you know how many dice that things rolls!!!! <jk>

As a note, I came across harshly vis-a-vis Ravingdork. My intent was to contend on the issues. I have nothing but the highest regard for his creativity and contributions to pathfinder, and in no way did I intend any aspersions to him. To the extent I came off that way, my apologies both to him and the thread.

I'd like to request clarification on: Am I considered adjacent to my mount?

Not unless you're walking it, or standing next to it. If riding it, you share your mount's space, attacking from it using your reach.

Thus, my question really is, if you can perform an action against an adjacent creature, can you perform it on your own square? If you gain a (non-positional) ability from being adjacent to a creature, is it also aquired if you are even closer?

If you are thinking of something like the Escape Route teamwork feat, I've always assumed it could be used between mount and rider.

I've always assumed that any creature with an it greater than 3 can take any teamwork feat, and that most teamwork feats where the partners have to be adjacent will work b/w rider and mount, but I would like confirmation before finalizing my build.

I decided to start a thread on an idea that started from the deadliest warrior thread but thought of more of an adventure type idea. Everyone is a contestent in a contest. The entire arena is a series of "Y"s leading into a central hub. Every contestent moves from their branch fighting their opposite. the winner then moves on fighting battle after battle until the final 2 contestants meet in the middle and battle to be the champion.

The outer branches are simple battle fields and they get progressively more complex as you get to the center.

Since everyone is traveling in they will have a little time to prep.

BOOKS: Core Rules, Advanced Players Guide, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Equipment, Advanced Race Guide (only Core, Featured and Uncommon races.)

CHARACTERS: This is about making the best character you can. So you can make a 11th level character using any mix of classes as long as it totals 11 levels.

GEAR: 82,000 gp worth of gear.

ATTRIBUTES: 25 to buy attributes.

What do you think of this idea.

Is there some restriction with the race?
