An Idea of My Campaign- "Nature's Knights"

Homebrew and House Rules

Scarab Sages

Here's an idea for a campaign that I call "Nature's Knights" (I can change it to something else if you guys find a name that's better). This is basically what the campaign is:

In an alternate world, a human cult called "the Oppressors" have done one of the most savage things possible-they have slain the Nature God Erastil in the name of their "natural goal" to conquer the world and all that live in it. Now several races who are not only enraged by the death of their God, but also see the consequences of destroying nature, have left the shadows of isolation and now join those who disagree with the Oppressors.

RACES: Humans, Elves, Gnomes, Gripplis, Armaka (armadillo-folk), Dromaeon (velociratpor-folk), Momahk (tapir-folk), and Florisa (dryad-like people)

This is all I have down. It may not be enough, but remember, I'm still working on it.

I would suggest going for a different name for your antagonists. "The Oppressors" is only one small step above "The Bad People".

Some things to think about: Why does slaying Erastil help conquer the world? Why do the Oppressors want to conquer the world in the first place? How does everybody know that it was the Oppressors who destroyed nature? How could nature be fixed? Who or what is going to step in and do Erastil's job now he's gone? Are his priests still praying to his most prominent servants?

Isn't Gozreh the nature deity?

Mortuum: Well, I couldn't think of a better named than the Oppressors, but I'll change it. Also, thanks for the tips.

Harrison: I think so.

I just assumed you were coming up with your own Nature deity for this setting (I honestly don't know the names of any of the deities except Asmodeus, because it's a historic mythological figure). When I got into Pathfinder I hardly even glanced at the deities list and started working on my own set that fit my campaign better.

And I agree you have to come up with a different name. How can any intelligent individual follows a group that calls themselves "the Oppressors". I'm sure this cult doesn't think of itself as oppressing anyone.
