My friend is going to start running the Shattered Star Ap, and I was planning on making an Inquisitor/Rogue modeled after Connor from Assassin's creed. I have my first level as Inquisitor. I was wondering if anybody had any idea as to how I should progress after that.
Well I don't really know much about making inquisitors, but the SS AP has a heavy emphasis on long dungeon crawls. So I suggest that you keep that in mind when building your character, as long dungeon crawls often test the endurance of builds pretty hard.

Inquisitor is not a great class to multiclass with IMHO. They get so much stronger as they level up that delaying that hurts a lot. But if that's what you want I recommend being an inquisitor of calistria. Take the luck or trickery domain and stay with it til level 5. Then take the extra bane feat and go rouge. I would recommend scout. Alternate to taste.
Edit: The vengeance Inquisition is also a good pick.
