Nothing beats... I believe it is called Clannad or some such.

But it has went down in some cases. Though it is mostly do to Studios being pushed on tight schedules.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I've watched the first few episodes. Got bored and dropped off of it because nothing ever seemed to happen.

Clannad picks up around Episode 4 or 5 I think...

It is simply the Voices. They are hilarious!

There is one Anime that is a Slice of Life Story that is good. I mean the graphics are like a Studio Ghibli Film. At least the older ones. It has a wonderful story and is fairly realistic. The same people also have a fantasy and sci-fi series that is excellent as well. I will try to dig up at least the Studio name.

On a Side Note: I can't wait to get Studio Ghibli's Video Game.

CHARACTER UPDATES
I've given Hama the silver tongued alternate racial trait and have adjusted her skills accordingly.

This was one I've been wanting to do for a long time. I finally got it to feel right.

NEW CHARACTERS
Guinn Black - 10th-level catfolk marauder, a fearsome plains barbarian known for his deadly lightning strikes

Shouldn't his Strength Score be a 26 when raging instead of 24? He does have Greater Rage, afterall.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Greater Rage comes into play at 11th-level, not 10th.

I think he is confused because of the +6 to CON

Got some new characters today, plus more to come throughout the week. Unlike many of their predecessors, all of these characters have seen play in our groups. Some are STILL seeing play. They are each contributed by my friends, who made them, and formatted by me to fit this thread's standards.

NEW CHARACTERS
Ogaro - 8th-level human brute, an urban barbarian known for raiding bars
Shin Takeru - 8th-level human spy, a foreign master of intelligence gathering

A bit of a late reply, but shouldn't Ogaro's Power Attack be -3 hit +3/6/9 damage at 8 BAB?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yes it should Mechalibur. Must have been glossed over when he was last leveled up.

Thank you for pointing it out. It will be fixed momentarily.

EDIT: Fixed. If you load it again (you may need to refresh the page) you should see the appropriate changes have been made.

no good clerics Ravingdork ?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I personally never got around to making a good-aligned cleric. Some of my friends did though. I'll see if I can get a hold of some of them for you.

EDIT: Hah. After going through my old records, we seem to have only ever had one good cleric amongst our entire group.

Maybe that's why we keep dying all the time...

Also, I misremembered. I did make a few good clerics:

Jevicca Dehlonna
Tali Ovsten
Lailah Hael (not yet uploaded)

EDIT:

NEW CHARACTERS
Lailah Hael - 9th-level aasimar heirophant, a near-pacifist who seeks only to help the downtrodden

Sweet!

& you really love Halflings don't you...

Grand Lodge

Have you ever considered the more extreme aspects of Aasimar and Tieflings, including different sizes.

If you carefully look through the physical options provided in available material, you can create some really crazy characters.

Just throwing that out there.

I think he has a flying aasimar fighter with halo and wings, which is quite cool as an archetype for the upcoming Crusade AP

Yeah, but I will give an example, using only what is available.

Tiefling:

Arms: elbow spurs

Digits: extra digits

Face: insectile mandibles

Hands: pincers

Legs: backward-bending

Other: antennae

Other: exoskeleton

Other: spinneret

Other: vestigial limb

Insectoid Tiefling... Thanks for the image...

Grand Lodge

Trust me, that's not the oddest.

Aasimar can get pretty weird too, especially when add the whole Scion of Humanity/Racial Heritage combo.

Prehensile Tongue anyone?

And my Female Friend just told me to tell you Giggity...

Esper, the extra +1 is coming from his weapons being masterwork.

It just occurred to me that Nudel can, as a house-sized hippo, automatically walk a tight rope thanks to the Winter aspect of her Ward of the Seasons spell. :D

Just imagine how graceful it must appear.

Rofl! Ok, I fell out of my chair laughing when I read the spell along with that mental image and the video of the dancing hippos. There is a part of me that wants to play Nudel simply for that one scene.

Oh dear...

I am kinda hot for nudel.... But id be afraid she could bite my face off.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

You'd lose a lot more than that I think.

yea T_T She's scary. Is she a half orc to get favored class bonuses on druid and barbarians? or is there another reason that i am missing?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Half-orcs have tusks. Hippos have tusks. Seemed a proper fit for that reason alone.

That, and I don't have too many half-orc characters, so I was going for something different.

If I'm not mistaken, her favored class is druid and she has +2 HP and +2 natural armor when wildshaped as a result.

Hilar

Hilar?

Grand Lodge

Hippos are freaking scary.

They kill more people than Lions and Hyenas combined.

They kill just because you are too close, or they are having a bad day, or good day.

NEW CHARACTERS
Kharzod d'Kunderak - 15th-level dwarf vault honor guard, a mighty bone knight of Karnath

This character was created by a friend of mine for our Eberron Campaign several years ago. I've converted it into a paladin for Pathfinder.

Nice...

Grand Lodge

Perhaps you have answered this before, but do you use a program to calculate the attacks, saves, etc.?

If so, what do you use?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yes, I use an extremely advanced program.

Grand Lodge

:[
I worded that wrong I suppose.

I was curious if you used a form fillable sheet of sorts, or a character creation program.

I did not know it was this kind of thread.

If it is, then you win. I have no need for such contests.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Your picture isn't showing properly (web site prevents external linking) so all context is lost I'm afraid.

In any case, I was just teasing.

Why is everyone so damn serious these days?

Shouldn't his lay on hands be 7d6? Or am I missing something?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Huh. I thought it was half your level rounded up.

I guess not. There are a few other copy/paste errors I need to fix anyways (the sheet was made off of a higher level paladin).

EDIT: Think I have everything fixed now, but keep an eye out just the same. Also, I changed some of his gear around so as to make him a little bit more interesting.

You missed the picture, and as such, missed the humor to humor nudging.

Now the humor is lost.

Why so serious?

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Everyone's complaining about this or that class not bring good enough, about GMs and Players and their rights, and well...about the game in general.

Guess that's why. Everyone's on edge for some reason and it's starting to get a trifle upsetting.

TACTICAL ADVICE
Kharzod plays like most paladins. He hits things with Smite Evil until they die. However, he has some battlefield capabilities thanks in no small part due to his reach weapon, Combat Reflexes feat, and righteous armor. Use that to your advantage.

Also, thanks to his Unsanctioned Knowledge feat, he possesses a non-standard spell list, one that primarily consists of incredible buffs. Stack as many as you can before a fight. If you use his metamagic rod on his heroism spells, you can give him a +2 to most d20 rolls for 12 hours each day. That's nothing to scoff at.

With divine bond (flaming burst/keen), divine power, flanking, haste, heroism, Power Attack, righteous might (from his armor), and smite evil, his attack line with redeemer will look something like this:

redeemer +36/+36/+31/+26 (3d6+50 plus 2d6 plus 1d6 fire/19-20/×3 plus 2d20 fire)

The picture is on this site. http://www.nerdnirvana.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/brain-balls.jpg

I do agree that that seems to be the most common thread now a days...

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

That didn't work either I'm afraid.

can we get a damage breakdown for nudel hippo bite? i been trying to work through the steps to get to 36d8 but im not getting it.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Behemoth Hippopotamus' bite attack starts at 4d8.

Improved Natural Attack bumps that up to 6d8.

Strong Jaw bumps that up two size categories, to 12d8.

Improved Vital Strike triples the attack's base damage, making it 36d8.

Once she gets her base attack bonus high enough, she can pick up Greater Vital Strike, putting her base damage up to 48d8 (max 384 damage BEFORE Power Attack, Strength or enhancement modifiers).

Did that help?

Yes it makes sense!

Can the Keen property be put on the amulet of mighty fists with furious? If so thats 17-20 crit range to double that damage. O_o

Grand Lodge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

With a thread title like this, I am surprised that you don't have a Wacky, Wavy, Inflatable Tube-Man Character.

He needs a heavens oracle first :P. He has a lot of character types to cover!
