I believe there's something in the core rule book about intimidating in combat. Trying to distract(or what ever you try doing) a opponent would probably follow along the same rules.

The bluff skill includes feinting in combat as a standard action to get an advantage on your next action. The feat improved feint makes it a move action. Is that what you were looking for?

The more i think about it, I guess I'm thinking of it as a form of Aid Another, which obv. already exists. :)

Honestly, I think I'm ready short of not having my character sheet in front of me so I can pre-plan my next few levels (I have vague ideas but, who knows). That, and the fact that i'm ready to play but still have until Sunday for the fun to begin is.. what it is.

Ready to get into it I suppose. I think i'm done. :) Thanks everyone!

I know exactly how that feels.

Feel free to ask anymore questions.

Is the Unconscious state considered to be "resting"? The idea of my STR being so low is worrisome, but what happens if I'm rendered Unconscious due to dire conditions such as fatigue/exhaustion?

I'd imagine it's a houserule situation, and that it's technically resting. But in my current condition if something were to exhaust me, I could permanently be unconscious if it's not considered as such.

I actually think it should count as Resting...

The rules are horribly unclear...

I got to test out combat yesterday. Overall a hell of a lot of fun and interesting. I tend to hurt the ranger more than help, but I can still do some things that play out (like disarming).

I even, out of the stars aligning, managed to get my first kill using the spiked gauntlet during an AoO. Beyond exciting, extremely satisfying.

And, the GM caught me off-guard for using the story to make my CHR and Perform shine. I don't know if that was his intent. But at the end of the session I couldn't help but feel good about it.

So just wanted to say thanks to everyone :)

Congrats! Hope the rest of the Campaign goes well.

Where would I go to ask questions about finding out information about purchasing objects not found in the CRB, but that exist in the CRB world (Like, a book. Not a spellbook, just a regular blank book)

See if your GM would let you look into using prices from UE.

It's too bad that your GM is limiting you to CRB. Combat trained riding geckos are awesome. (Any mount that lets you ride the wall gets my thumbs up.)

Anyway, if you do buy a riding dog, you may want to buy two. One to ride into combat, the other to carry your gear. Make sure your pack dog is also combat trained, that way if your primary mount gets killed out from under you, you have a backup.
