Question on racial feats

Rules Questions

When playing half orcs or half elves, their race description states "Half whatever's count as both whatever and humans for any effect related to race", does this apply to racial feats as well? For example, Fast Learner is a human race feat, would a half elf be able to take it as well?

I suspect the answer is no, but I'd like confirmation either way.

thanks,
Muljinn

i'm not sure if a feat qualifies as an 'effect'. i believe the ability was to make them take disadvantageous effects like the ranger's favored enemy ability. so rangers who hate elves or humans would get bonus damage against you.

In theory, its under discussion at the moment and the boards cannot agree on if that works or not.

Feats and Classes are not "effects".

Unless an ability calls out allowing you to count as said race for prerequisites, then you don't.
