I was shocked to hear that news today. I couldn't believe they weren't already in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. I realize they aren't as popular as a lot of other rock bands, but their influence on other musicians and their technical skills are huge.

I'm not holding my breath. The fan voting counts for 1 out of 600 votes I hear. If the critics don't want them in, they aren't getting in.

BTW, saw them in Montreal last week. Awesome show marred by just atrocious sound. Hope they release a BluRay of the tour so I can hear what it was supposed to sound like.

I was so psyched to hear this today!

I was ready for the Hall to give some lame excuse as to why they weren't inducted.

Maybe there's some truth to that Mayan Calendar thing after all...or perhaps there are some devils ice-skating on the Lake of Fire at this very moment?
