Hi all,
After successfully launching our Far East Adventure Path with Under Frozen Stars, an adventure set at around 8th level and occurring during the arctic crossing to the east, we have several products, we have several products percolating and ready to burst into full bloom! The first product to arrive will be The Baleful Coven, an adventure for 6th-level characters by Matt Goodall, also known as YOUR 2010 RPG Superstar!!!
Matt is a recent addition to Legendary Games and we are delighted that he accepted our invitation. His creativity and attention to detail are terrific, and his talents will be a great addition to our company. This adventure is only the first step, but it is a promising one indeed.
The adventure itself is previewed on our website, but in brief it is a dynamic character study in the repercussions that can happen in a responsive and interactive campaign world when PCs are going about their heroic business, blasting bad guys and taking their loot. Most of the time, that seems like the end of the story, but every once in a while PCs come across something else, where revenge takes on a literal life of its own and forces converge to avenge a mother's son at the hands of the PCs and their righteous brigandage against monsters. Tbe adventure is inventive and atmospheric in the extreme, and we think it will make a great addition to not only our Adventure Path experience but ofr any campaign where sentient villains might seek their revenge.
We look forward to bringing you this product and I hope you have as much fun playing it as we did creating it!
Ah, Matt's writing it! So that means no one will be able to complete it alive? :)

You write one,.. er two, ... a few tough adventures and people assume everything you write will be a killer. :-)

I got to read a draft of this. Its very cool, its an excellent "fit", and I think people are going to have a lot of fun with it.

I notice the product description you have above pegs this at level 6. Players are level 7 at the end of the adventure. How easy do you think this one would be to bump up a bit and use as kind of a bridge between NoFS and Hungry Storm?
I have some time to work on it, as I've just finished running Frozen Shadows and so now we have flipped back over for volume 2 of our other GM's Skull & Shackles game. After which I'll be picking up with Hungry Storm.

The adventure fits perfectly between NoFS and Hungry Storm. It's listed as level 6 to help those parties that haven't gotten enough XP from preceding parts of the AP to reach 7th level. It contains 'Scaling the Adventure' information for the GM to easily bump it up to challenge higher level parties.

Yes indeed! A very good chance I should say. It's teetering on the precipice of done-ness. Sometimes surges of work in people's day jobs get in the way a bit, but this should be available by next Monday if not before!

It's no longer coming... The Baleful Coven is finally HERE!
I would like to give big props on this plug in...
I find it a well constructed and thematically relevant plug in which includes the main plots on the journey. We are about half way through and my players really dig it...

I'd encourage you to check out Under Frozen Stars, which fills another thin spot a bit later on in the AP.
For that matter, if you like Matt Goodall's work on this adventure, you'll be pleased to know that he's hard at work and nearing completion on another adventure for Legendary Games for our new Kingbreaker Adventure Path Plug-Ins. If all goes well, it should be available for your reading pleasure by the beginning of May.
