Nothing else will convert over to the KS Redeux except the Loyalty Bonus, it will be all new.
Does this mean my original $150 pledge no longer exists after the Redeux? I will need to re-evaluate a pledge amount based on the new campaign?
Correct, it is all new. The Credit system was the core of the pledge reward set up, with it removed, we needed to start from scratch. Trust me it will be much more straight forward, not a lot of reading for re-evaluation.
Is there any chance you could start making these miniatures on regular solid bases? (Like DDM's and Pathfinder Battles) To me, the appearance of the base takes away from the appearance of the mini. (Plus I'm tired of players asking me why the bases look the way that they do).
I know you have mentioned that you want to try to launch a miniatures battle game (which is why the bases look the way they do)... but I just don't think there is much interest for this. Miniature battle games just don't seem to last. (Aside from Warhammer).
Gaming companies that release 40+ minis at a time have not been able make a go of it. For any longevity to the game, you will need to spend a LOT of money on marketing and promotion. (Something WotC did and that still didn't help). Of course, if you seem to think that you have developed the most awesome and addictive set of miniatures battles rules that have ever existed, then by all means give it a try.
I say focus on what you do best... making niche pre-painted miniatures. I have no interest in dungeon dressing though. I would like to see more unique minis that are not currently available.
Tidal Wave has some great minis in it. In future sets, I would prefer to see more of a focus on miniatures that would most likely see use on a gaming table -- like the pirates in Tidal Wave. The pirates are great! I would like to see more of them -- there is a huge lack of pirate minis available, and at least every gamer I know of has played in at least 1 pirate-themed campaign (a number that is sure to rise due to Pathfinder's Skulls & Shackles AP).
Pathfinder has a rich human ethnically diverse world (Golarion), but so few minis support this. It would be great if you could make minis that could fit the various ethnic regions. (i.e. Persian themed / African themed / Oriental themed / etc.). No one has done this before with pre-painted minis.
A few times now in campaigns I have played in the last 2 years, it has come up that there are no camel miniatures. It would be great as well if you could fill this niche, or perhaps even include it in an ethnically themed set.
Anyways, those are just my random thoughts. I look forward to seeing this product line prosper and will do what I can through the Redeux to help make that happen.

I don't think it is up yet. Last I heard it was being reviewed by Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter Redeux should go live sometime on 10/25/12.

Kor: those are some interesting suggestions. The base differences are non-intrusive and uniform, and although they are noticeable, we have no intention of rolling over and dying before we've started because other games have failed. ;)
There is a great divide between people that like non-combatants vs combatants vs dungeon dressing and the like. We're going to continue to make niche minis - and hope overall people like em! Look at the Brazier, we've had a fantastic response from that. Even our introductory tentacle set was hated by others and overall they've been received very well. So, all possibilities will remain on the table.
We're also being bashed for doing a nautical theme for our opening set, so we can't please everyone - but, we hope to please the majority. :)
Suggestions are always welcome though.

Its never going to be possible to please everyone, but I suppose that is why its good to have some diversity in the line so there is something for everyone. The tentacles were great, and definitely filled a missing niche!
As much as I dislike dungeon dressing... I do want a couple of the braziers :)

I really hope this one works out for you. I think your minis I do own are great. I also must admit I am curious what some of the other stretch goals are.
How do previous backers know if they are to receive the bonus mini? Or are any of the other bonuses still valid? (I assume not with it being a redux)
It does look really nice 70 mini's for $100, that's without any extra's or stretch goals.
DSXMachina, if you kept your pledge to the bitter end of our last campaign, you'll get a loyalty bonus of 4 minis (details on our site). However, the Redeux is all new, so nothing will transfer over, it's a fresh start.
You will know if you go to your profile of campaigns you've pledged for and see the original campaign in your list of supported campaigns (which is public to all).
We will be making a list that backers can check. Backers can change their names, but we will verify eligibility at the end of the campaign as well.
We're looking forward to showing more goals off too. :)

We can also accept visa/mastercard as Auggies storefront will be handling the shipping. Paypal does acct e-cheques, and we will check in to Amazon to see if we can invoice from there as well.
We'll do our best to get everyone as many options as possible.

Yes, you can choose any minis from the KickStarter. @ $100 or more you can choose from the Alternate paints as well.

I have used Paypal for well over 10 years now. It is a very convenient and secure way to make online payments. I DO NOT give out my credit card numbers to online shops, so for this reason Paypal also helps to protect me. Linking Paypal to a bank account and verifying it takes a couple steps, but its more than worth it.
I would highly recommend setting up a Paypal account. You WILL need it at some point in the future if you ever plan to buy something online. As a fraud investigator I would highly advise you to never use your credit card for online purchases and only use Paypal. (Even if you are giving your credit card (and worse, your verification number) to any trusted online shop -- you are now at risk if their database is ever compromised).

Although a caveat to the above: PayPal has been hacked in the past. No system is entirely safe. When you engage in commerce over the internet, you take certain risks. That said, my PayPal account was hacked and the customer service staff I worked with to ameliorate the situation were polite, effective and excellent to work with during a particular stressful time. I recommend them highly.
