Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

As a player, I'd like to see more archetypes and class options. Though getting my DM to allow 3rd party material is tough, I'd still like to see it published and available.

I'd love to get a copy of class acts: clerics... just because not enough people want to play them and they can be a lot of fun. They should get more skill points though.

Sounds great, thanks guys.

Sgmendez: I choose Rangers for you, since it has the higher rating of the two (5 stars across 3 ratings). Either is an excellent choice.

Options for multi-classers sounds good to me. Hybrid archetypes and/or PrCs would be cool. Additional support for ARG as the Succubus mentioned. Can't go wrong following her lead.
---

* Some Ranger Acts if I could please.

I would like to see something that gives more options for skills. I really like skills and would like to have them see more play during combat and some options that aren't binary (success/failure). I would like to see options for partial successes.

For me, I'd say Archetypes...I love those. <_<

And I think...Rogues looks neat. ^_^

I think I'd like to see a pre-generated encounter with one or more fleshed out NPCs. Ideally, each NPC would be a single page that could be printed out separately. That way I could add them to my (3-ring binder) rogues gallery of easily accessed NPCs :]

I'd like to check out your Rogue supplement, please.

I would like to see some one offs and add ons, an adventure you could drop for a nights gaming with pregenerated encounters (set-piece or side-quest), and then also interesting pregenerated NPCs, preferably single-classed, yet effective and with a unique twist or backstory.

I'd be interested in taking a look at Class Acts: Clerics as my first choice please.

And Class Acts: Bards as my second choice.

Thank you!

I really like mundane gear, special materials, item curses, or terrifying monsters.

I'd really like to take a look at Class Acts: Rangers, please.

Dark Archive

I would like to see the class acts expanded to include all the base classes and alternate classes.

I would like to see more arch types for all the classes that are actually worth losing your regular class abilities for.

More options for multi-classing. Alot of people never make it to level 20 for the capstone, anyways.

Options for characters that work with other 3rd party material that is OGL.

If you can match the quality of Paizo's adventure paths or Fire Mountain Games' Way of the Wicked, an adventure could be an interesting way to showcase some of your class stuff.

I'll take class acts clerics, since you don't have magus or inquisitor stuff.

Sovereign Court

I would like a "NPC Gallery" with CRs listed, and a little bit of personality, a pic, and a stat block.

As I am currently playing a cleric in my home game, I'd like to see the Cleric PDF.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would like to see a quick one night scenario, 3-5 hour playtime. Plot points, couple RP parts, couple fights, and treasure. All wrapped into a nice tidy bundle.
And let me check out the Druid book.

Dark Archive

I am not sure I would need more Adventure Paths, Paizo already has several and more to come but I would love to see encounters to supplant existing material (set-piece or side-quests like Set said above) and some unique and interesting NPCs, even organizations or cabals like the Zhentarim in the Forgotten Realms or the Scarlet Brotherhood in Greyhawk.

Also, and this may be beyond the scope you are asking us about, I would love to see a series of articles regarding the the unique fiends and archons of the Outer Planes, something along the lines of Ed Greenwood's "The Politics of Hell". I know you can't use the given demon lords and arch devils that are IP, but perhaps other unique beings that could be still be part of that multiverse. With Mythic Rules coming next year I would love I would love to see supplementary products like this.

I'd be really interested in taking a look at Class Acts: Wizards please. If a second choice is needed it would be Class Acts: Rangers, which Rielle said was possibly a better option.

Maybe I should ask the dark mistress for a critique.

Anything for the Advanced Race Guide: Race Builder, love to see more options there.

The Rogue guide would be awesome.

I'd like to see to see archtypes for multiclassed characters.

Class acts wizards please.

As a GM I would love small encounters with interesting environments. If possible they would be even better if you could provide stats for 2-3 APL.

CA: Rangers sounds great thank you!

I'd like to see some Pregenerated NPC's as well..

CA: witches for me please!!

I can't believe I forgot to mention that I would be interested in rangers.

Keep the suggestions coming, folks. To those of you posting "second choices;" no need! We're not going to run out of PDFs (unless the entire internet runs out of space, maybe?).

I will always put Adventure Paths as Number 1 on my wish list. Even though there are many out there, I love adventure options and it would likly garner more interest. A new campaign world would also be interesting, and could be a great place to jump off of for all the other ideas.

As for the rest of the ideas, they're all great, but are in even greater abundance that the Adventure Paths.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi, folks.

Abandoned Arts wants to know what sorts of products you'd like to see published. Archetypes? Class options? Bestiary products? Pregenerated NPCs? Pregenerated encounters? Magic items? Cursed items? Artifacts? Feats? Spells? Races? Adventure paths? Campaign worlds?

A different type of World/Campaign. Complete with Class Archtypes to match the theme and an intro Adventure. It would be cool if these things were unique to the World. Hope that's not too vague.

Guess I'll take Rogue.

NPCs/encounters.

Settlements, small to medium sandboxy locales, sidetreks.

Simple archetypes, that may be stacked to most existing archetypes. (i.e. change only 1 or 2 class abilities) and that cover wholes in the extant archetypes. For example a Rogue dandy archetype, that makes adds swordcane proficiency, adds a skill or two and removes a bit of un-dandyish stuff. In reversal craven archetype that adds the garotte. (...more ideas)

Adventure paths if at least a bit generic and pluggable into Golarion but that have a quirky niche theme which paizo probably won't do. (There's lots of threads with AP ideas, the latest by Fire Mountain Games.)

Evil Lincoln's The Missing Tropes — A Collection for Rule Design thread is a great resource for this.

I'll take the Witch please.

Pre-generated encounters would save me a lot of hassle when things suddenly go against my original plan in the game or when I am suddenly needed to DM something that I have had little/no time to prepare for. Complete adventures would also be really nice. I'd really like them more than more class options. I know some friends of mine as well as myself have a backlog of characters we would like to try, and somewhere to do that that would take less time to set up would be incredible. More class options can wait until I've tried everything I am interested in already.

I always enjoy more interesting magic/cursed/artifact items though. I spend more time than I should thinking up new ones and often introduce one every leg of each campaign I DM.

[Edit] Forgot to mention that I would like Class Acts: Clerics please!

While I love new archetypes, feats, spells and magic item, I am aware that more and more books containing them lead to options bloat.

Thus I'd say that what I would want to see would be bestiary books and series of books containing campaign settings.
One new type of books that could be interesting could be accessories describing nations, regions and cultures (with major focus on customs) that could be used in development of homebrew settings - assembled together in various combinations to create new worlds. It would be great if the new nations and cultures weren't just copies of RL historical nations and cultures but something new, introducing exotic customs, new myths, exploring alternate paths of social and economic development.

I think I will choose Witch, please.

Great, everyone. : )

Dark Archive

I'd like to see the archetype range carried on but after the classes to be done in themes, like the survivors (archetypes for rangers, druids and barbarians) the cursed (archetypes for sorcerers, witches and oracles) and the pious (archetypes for paladins, monks and inquisitors)

Also maybe some archetypes for specific monsters now that they've been introduced by the ARG, especially for some undeadies like the lich and vampires

ps: I'd like the rogue pdf

As a player, I'm always interested in more player options; Archetypes, Feats, Spells, Equipment, etc...
And as someone who is currently enamoured of the Magus, any additional options for that class are always welcome.

As for the .pdf... hmmm... There are a few I wouldn't mind, but I think I'll go with the Witch. :)

Gotcha both down. : )32 spots left until we reach 100, people...hurry!

Always down for more archetypes.

Extra options for base class tricks - more Rage Powers, more Rogue tricks, more Witch Hexes, more Magus Arcana, etc. etc. etc. - are definitely a plus.

Adventures! Always will take adventures.

MONSTERS. Likewise, always up for more monsters. Alternatively, alternate features and/or tricks or tactics for existing monsters. Keep players on their toes so they don't know exactly what Beastie X can do each time, because each one might be a little different. Trade this monster/racial ability for an alternative, for example.

NPCs with basic history and statblocks are good for DM Toolboxes, and can usually be easily tweaked just a tad here or there or run straight out of the box.

Low-level magic items, and magic items that do things other than flat plus-whatever. Also agreed on the guy who sad "cursed items whose curses are more annoying than debilitating and don't ruin the use of the item".

General-use town and city stats.

Multiclassing options, including PrCs.

I think that sums up. Sorry if that's too many =)

My knee-jerk reaction was Witches but I've already purchased that... so think I'm gonna go with Fighter.

Cursed items, adventures, and some premade NPCs would be fun to see as a newbie DM. As a player, can't go wrong with archetypes.

I'll go with rogue as a first choice, ranger as a second.

Short set pieces. Like a haunted glade or troll infested bridge.

Would love to see more feats. Feats are always good. Especially feats that are class specific. Feats that really make you want to be a Druid just because of the feat that you can use...or a fighter only feat. There's my two cents.

In order to be "eligible" for your free PDF you simply need to have been a forum member for at least as long as this thread has been around (i.e. you must have a post history predating this thread). Author a post describing the sorts of products you'd like to see and the free PDF (from the list above) that you'd like to receive.

Abandoned Arts' administrative demigoddess Rielle Gordon will be monitoring the thread (and so will I) and issuing your PDFs. Allow at least a few days for Rielle and the Paizo staff to get your item out to you.

from the list given i would prefer cursed items.

Shadow Lodge

Races. Oh, I dearly loves me some races. Especially ones that are compatible with the Advances Race Guide, so that they can fit in with a standard party and not be overwhelmingly powerful.

As far as what I'd like, Class Acts: Witches.

Speaking of that, I'd like for you to put out Class Acts: Oracles.
That was the Class Acts that I originally scanned the list for, because it seems like Oracles have show such huge promise, but kind of get the short end of the stick as far as options.

I would like to see one off encounters or NPCS that are unique. Baring that some of the adventures as I have my own campaign world and like to pull adventures into them I find it a challenge to make certain my CR level are correct when I create things.

I would like the free witches PDF please

Archetypes, specifically archetypes that tweek the 'magic' level of casters (spell-less bard etc).

+1 for Oracles!

It was told in the beginning that active paizo account is required so I think not - the pdf will be probably added to our accounts through paizo store (as it is simplest solution possible in such circumstances).

From a player perspective:
Archetypes for multiclassed characters would be cool and useful to fully customize a concept from inception.

From a GM perspective:
Unique magic items from armor and weapons to ropes, gloves, amulets and everything in between, with a description and short history (fluff).

Additional weapon and armor magic abilities.

Scaled NPCs who can be used as recurring foes, friends, or just folks regularly encountered. For example, I had riverboat captain that was a recurring NPC. When the PCs were 1st, 4th, 6th, etc. and they needed to travel, he was usually there. During the adventures, the captain helped fight off goblin raiders, giants, NPC pirates, a dragon, and more. I scaled him each time the players gained a level. Having fully fleshed NPCs that are scaled would be a tremendous help to time strapped GMs. Preferably with a picture, but I can use face cards for that.

Archetypes and PrC for monsters. Or at least power swap outs or aditional quick ideas to change up the creatures and monsters. This would be especially helpful with modules or APs that have instances of multiple encounters with the same creatures. I use my PDFs of templates often, but l would like more options, and not just in the form of additional templates.

I would be interested in the cleric PDF.

Thanks!

Liberty's Edge

I'd really like to see pregenerated encounters, followed by pregenerated NPCs. I'm sometimes at a loss for something to throw in at my party on a moment's notice when they're camping, or need a short sidequest, or the like.

Wizards, please.

Scarab Sages

I'd be interested in seeing more pre-generated single encounters, with accompanying NPCS, that can be easily slotted into an adventure/scenario. Little extras like an arm wrestling tournament when you enter an inn, a caravan pulling in to the parties campsite for the night, that sort of thing.

I would actually love to see more archetypes that wildly alter a class as well. Summoners with no eidolon whatsoever for example (as the Celestial Commander)

(Cleric class act, please)

Lantern Lodge

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I'm pretty much a "needs-to-go-into-rehab" addict of anything that has to do with wizards. Therefore, I'd be very interested in Spells, Feats, & Archetypes that cater to spellcasters. They don't even need to be wizard-focused. Perhaps some options for improved focus on particular elements or schools of magic. Maybe a solid option for a melee-focused sorcerer similar to the power level of a wildshaping druid. Several bloodlines have melee-focused arcana and powers, but outside of the Dragon Disciple, there's not much sense in playing a melee sorcerer.

I suppose you can tell that I'd like the Wizards class act pdf, if you would so kindly bestow such arcane goodies upon me.

Shadow Lodge

As a GM: I would love a book of random encounters with on the fly CR adjustments and sorted by terrain type.

As a player: something for traits and tricks of the Rogue-ish variety.

Class Acts: Rogues would be awesome.

Thank you for pinging the community and with such a great reward for participation.

Thanks, guys. Time is dwindling, people!

*Just a reminder (the majority of you people have this right): Your post should have your ideas as well as which Class Act you would like. I have been pm-ing individuals who are missing either part, so if think you may have forgotten something, check your inbox.

Class Acts: Witches please.

I would like to see more archetypes as they are one of the best things about PF in my mind. Homemade feats, monsters or items etc are easier to balance during play if both GM and player are willing to sit down and talk a little but archetypes and other long term class options are a bit harder to change. So archetypes as well as class options to go with them on the side.

Archetypes with optional parts such as swapping out three class features and giving you the option to swap out a fourth or keep the original ability.

Interested in Class Acts Witches if pdfs are left
