Okay, maybe I'm just overlooking it, but do the Aldori Swordlord PrC levels count for levels in Fighter for the purposes of qualifying for fighter bomus feats? I ask this because one of the AS abilities gets better the more weapon feats you have, and unless you are taking only a couple levels of AS you can't utilize the feats (not enough levels of Fighter).
Display Weapon Prowess (Ex): At 2nd level, an Aldori
swordlord adds a bonus equal to 1/2 his class level on Intimidate checks made while using Dazzling Display with an Aldori dueling sword. He also gains a +1 competence bonus on these Intimidate checks for each of the following feats he possesses with the Aldori dueling sword: Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization.
You can get into this prestige class with as few as 5 levels of fighter, so it's possible to qualify for Grtr weapon spec by only taking a few levels of AS PrC and switching back to fighter, but was that the intent?
Thanks,
Pol

Since the PRC does not specifically say so, (had the book on me) the answer is no. Instead the PRC takes you off fighter progression and puts you on it's own path.

Thats what I'm seeing too, but since you can't qualify for the feats that it calls out in the "Display Weapon Prowess" ability unless you drop out and back to fighter, I'm wondering if that was what was intended.

This was an intentional feature of the Aldori swordlord prestige class. If you choose to take 12 levels in the fighter class to qualify for the Greater Weapon Specialization feat, you gain a bonus from the PrC's display weapon prowess class feature not available to those who go through the full progression of the prestige class.
This option is particularly suitable for those who choose to take the Aldori swordlord archetype and take 11 or 12 levels in fighter in order to gain the archetype's 11th-level counterattack ability.

Yep, this was intentional at the authorial and development level. The PrC isn't meant to replace the archetype but to complement it, which includes different combinations of levels of the two.
