Welcome to new VC Asheville, NC

Pathfinder Society

Grand Lodge 4/5

Please join me in welcoming the newest member to the Venture-Captain staff, Paul Trani. He will be overseeing PFS growth and expansion in and around Asheville, NC.

Welcome aboard, Paul!

YAY PAUL!

You're coming to Dragon*con, right? ;-)

Sczarni 2/5

I live nowhere near you!

But still, gratz, dood.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Wow! It seems like we're adding a new VC every day at this point. Welcome, Paul!

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Thank you, all. My first official action as VC of the Asheville area will be delegating someone to attend DragonCon in my absence (absolute power corrupts absolutely, or so it goes). Never fear, I'll be like a Subway restaurant past that, you'll see me so much, you'll wonder how I can eat so fresh.

That made little sense; I am truly giddy. Woo hoo! Venture-Captains Assemble! (imaginoíng somw giant Voltron made of all the VCs).

Welcome to the clubhouse, Paul.

Let me know if you decide to wander out of the mountains into the eastern part of the state - we'll see what we can do to hook you up with some games.

Grats. Now come back and play in Tennessee again.

Congrats, Paul!

You've done an excellent job getting and keeping PFS going here in Asheville. Keeping being a very important part.

Not long after PFS got going here in Asheville, the FLGS we were meeting at closed down. I seem to recall we found out about this about five days before our next scheduled meeting. Well Paul ran around like mad and found us another place to meet, so we never missed a session. We'd already lost two weeks to winter holidays, so if we'd missed that first session back in January, we could've lost momentum entirely.

But we didn't, gaming was saved, and now we've gone from about 10 players at that first meeting in December 2011, to regular turnouts of I'm guessing around 30 or so.

I could also say lots of nice things about his GMing, but I gotta save something to say as he gains additional GM stars.

(Though for the Tri-Cities folks, or anywhere else Paul might turn up as a Special Guest Star: make him run Frostfur Captives. You won't regret it.)

ALL HAIL THE DINK! You sir are THE man...

All Hail the Dink!

Woohoo, congratulations!

Congratulations!

Congrats, Dink. You were already the venture captain in all but name. Nice for you to have the title to match the organizational headaches!

Shadow Lodge 2/5

Congrats, Paul! Very well deserved!

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Congrats, Paul You do a good job here in Asheville.

Scarab Sages 4/5

I could not be prouder! Paul has been a huge asset to me in the Asheville area and I am really looking forward to seeing what other cool stuff the APL comes up with in the future. I'll be up there this weekend to buy you that beer.

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Come on out and check out our weird and wild Goblin Moon Day event at the Wyvern's Tale, Del! You won't be disappointed!

Liberty's Edge

I am just up the road in Greensboro area, our crew might have to sneak down your way some weekend!! (Actually I will be there this weekend but don't know that I can roll high enough BLUFF or SNEAK vs wife to come out and play!!)

I would like to get some info if you have it on the local scene, where you are organizing it (Warhorn?) if not on here.

Scarab Sages 4/5

I am hoping to get there in time if I can get out of the family reunion in time to make it over!

I am currently running monthly at Above Board Games in (the Charlotte Area) Tega Cay, SC which is probably an hour less drive for you if that helps you find a game. Check their forum on these boards. I am waiting for them to give me the next dates they have an opening. I will be running part three of the Shades of Ice series and the special Cyphermage Dilemma. Their signup is done via forum.

Also you can catch both Paul and I at MACE in Charlotte in November where we are putting together 28 spectacular tables of PFS! Then again at SCARAB in January where will will have 120 tables of PFS over 4 days!

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Hey Jun10R! We indeed are organizing the majority of the sign-ups for the Asheville Pathfinder Lodge (APL) on the Warhorn site. But you can also check out our Paizo page...

HERE!!!!

All the info you could want (and possibly a lot more) can be found there.

Cheers!
Paul

Liberty's Edge

I just missed you this weekend, I stopped in and bought some merch at Wyvern in Asheville (very cool store) and he said you had just left a few minutes earlier.

I nearly had to abandon the wife and friends when I heard there was Pathfinder going on upstairs... oh well, maybe next time!

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

(unprintable cursing)

Darn! Come on back whenever you're able, JUN10R! We'll be there.
