Any experience with online player sheets?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi guys and girls,
I'm looking for an online player sheet for phone or tablet as I often forget my sheet at home. Found a bunch online, but have anyone of you had any good experience with these? I think the design could be updated a bit.
Cheers

Just use a Google Doc or a spreadsheet or something. Actually, there might be a dynamic spreadsheet somewhere that updates damage and hit chance based on stats, but otherwise, just a plain one is fine.

I'm fond of this one, but it's not super intuitive in actual use.

I built my own in Google Docs, and had my players use it for a campaign I was running. Keep meaning to update it but it worked pretty well - when I could get them to stop typing over formulas.

I've been trying to find a good online sheet for a long time now and with limited success, but out of all the ones I've seen I think Myth Weavers is the best. It does some basic calculations for you and has plenty of space for you to write notes about what abilities do and such, plus as it is online you can easily share your characters. Really the only thing I dislike about Myth Weavers is the lack of an export option; you always have to be online to use it.

Simplest way is to just write up a plaintext character sheet [like you would on notebook paper] and save it in an online file sharing service like Google Drive.

Dark Archive

I can second Myth Weavers. I love their online sheets. Being able to link someone my sheet, and do edits on my phone or tablet without needing a paper sheet is amazing.

has anyone tried herolabs and stuck with it? (http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?context=hero_lab)

If you have Excel then TOS+ is good on a tablet, he does a free PFRPG Core version. I save the character save files to OneDrive to pick them up on all devices. Well worth a look.
Tried a couple of online ones in the past but flakey internet and such put me off.

Myth Weavers is free and convenient, so it also gets my vote. Herolab may or may not be great, but I can't afford the money to find out.

Liberty's Edge

I use HeroLab extensively for all my characters, building NPCs, BBEGs and for running combats. Hell, sometimes I find it easier to reference for information than the pfsrd.

It is undeniably expensive but if you can spare the money, it is absolutely worth it.

I don't have a spare 10k to drop on it (or how much it costs with full supplement support), so I really can't comment. I've heard it's pretty cool though.

Liberty's Edge

You get two licences when you buy it so if you have a buddy you can split the cost with it becomes somewhat more affordable. But yeah, buying all the supplements adds up so I'm just gradually building them up over time.
