Walk through Space

School conjuration (teleportation); Level alchemist 6, magus 6, sorcerer/wizard 7, summoner 6, witch 7

Components V, S, M (a wren's egg)

Range personal

Target you

Duration 1 round/level

When under the effects of this spell, you can teleport up to 30 feet as a move action. You must end this movement in an unoccupied space that you can stand on within line of sight. Alternatively, you can spend a move action to teleport to a standing position from lying prone. Teleporting does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

I see no casting time here anc was curious, as im looking to taking this next level with my kensai magus... Anyone know?

Unless otherwise specified, I always assume a spell has a standard action casting time.

Every other spell ive seen states its cast time for example:

Fireball
School evocation [fire]; Level sorcerer/wizard 3
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (a ball of bat guano and sulfur)
Range long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Area 20-ft.-radius spread
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw Reflex half; Spell Resistance yes

or for somthing with a diff casting time:

Cold Ice Strike
School evocation [cold]; Level cleric 6, sorcerer/wizard 6
Casting Time 1 swift action
Components V, S
Range 30 ft.
Area 30-ft. line
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw Reflex half; Spell Resistance yes

and some spells even have immediate actions, but this one doesnt say anything, so i cant "assume" anything.. Anyone have any actual clarification on the spell casting time?

You *can* assume and have to until there is an erratum. Talk to your GM. Standard action is the default for most actions (especially spells) unless otherwise defined, so a standard action is a very safe assumption.

A case could be made for it taking a move action (since that's the action in the spell) but that could create an unprecedented three spell castings in a single round. A further case could be made for a swift action, because of the spell level and addition acton required to use the ability. It makes no sense as an immediate action since it isn't designed to interrupt anything.

However, since it doesn't state an acton, you have two options: make an assumption, or don't use the spell. Precedence says it will be a standard action to cast, but ask your GM.
