Minis: What's Missing?

Assuming one can get a complete set of the Rise of the Runelords miniature set, what's missing?
What metal minis would you need to hunt down? Any official minis that are must haves?

Liberty's Edge

I ask because I'm thinking about running the hardcover version in many, many moons after my current campaign ends (so I can justify the purchase of the collector's edition to myself).

I like having exact minis for my monsters and since I have the time it would be nice to have all the exact figures I need, especially for key NPCs, villains, or odd monsters that wouldn't be included in my collection of WotC minis.

Sovereign Court

You could get the paper minis, they have everything you need. (Just saying...)
:-)

Liberty's Edge

They pawns look pretty cool (and I regularly recommend saving for them them to new players) but then I need to buy the bestiary box and they look less cool beside all my metal and plastic minis.

I've been buying the D&D Minis since they started coming out, so I've already invested in that.

Monsters in AP:

Of note that I can think of, assuming the APs mostly the same
1) Bunyip, Tentamort
2) Scarecrow Flesh Golem (Reaper makes a good metal mini)
3) Mammy Graul, Dorella Kreeg, Hags for Hag Coven, Barl Breakbones
4) Seems like its pretty well covered here. Maybe the Kobold Barbarian.
5) Huge White Dragon, Stone Golem with a Bow.
6) Gargantuan Undead Tree, The Hidden Beast, Huge Blue Dragon.
Some of these, like the dragons and hags are available in DDM.

Liberty's Edge

That's a great list, thanks.
Looks like there's one in 2) and a couple in 3) I can get as metal.

Here are a few suggestions for minis not found in the DDM sets from Rakshaka's list:

spoiler:
1.) Bunyip The Horror Clix Nessie is what I used.

spoiler:
2.) Scarecrow Flesh Golem The World of Warcraft Harvest Golem is what I used. It was just about perfect!

spoiler:
2.) Mammy Graul Horror Clix's Big Bertha was suggested to me not long ago on this board; and I picked up one for cheap. I had been running RotR, but suspended it to get the Anniversary edition and new RotR minis. The party is just setting out for Turtleback Ferry.

May your party survive!

Mazra

Liberty's Edge

Oh yes, that Big Bertha will work quite nicely!

I compared a list of all the creatures in the adventure to the Pre-Painted Minis, RotRL Pawns, and Bestiary Box Pawns. The following do not have representation in those products (though, I'm pretty sure the paper minis have 'em!):

Elemental, Water - Elder
Ghast
Ghast, Goblin
Giant Hermit Crab

Skull Ripper
Nightbelly Boa
Spider, Ogre
Tendriculus
Tentamort
Treant, Undead - Gargantuan (The Horror Tree)
Very Old Blue Dragon (Glorofaex)

Zombie, Ogrekin

The following do not have a mini or pawn representation, but they do have face cards:

Spoiler:

Aliver Podiker
Belar Hemlock
Brodert Quink
Erin Habe
Father Zantus
Gobblalas*
Haldmeer*
Kendra Deverin
Ibar Thorn
Jubrayl Vhiski
Lonjiku Kaijitsu
Maelin Shreed
Shayliss Vinder
Silas Vekker
Morgiv (Skulk)

The following are individual creatures that, though they aren't represented specifically, can be represented by having a stand-in (goblin, ogrekin, ogre, etc):

Spoiler:

Gresgurt
Caizarlu Zerren
Rukus Graul
Crowfood Graul
Lucky Graul
Maulgro Graul
Hucker Graul
Muck Graul

Do the paper minis have art for each "named" creature?

* - who the heck are these guys? I can't find them in the adventure.

Haldmeer Grobaras is the Lord-Mayor of Magnimar. He isn't written to have any involvement in combat (YMMV), so I wouldn't worry about a mini for him. He has information in the Magnimar book and, I believe, AP #2 in the Magnimar gazetteer, and is mainly a questgiver NPC in the AP as written. Gobblalas I'm not sure about, unless you took Haldmeer's last name as a different character.

Liberty's Edge

You know what! It's his last name but it's spelled wrong on the RotRL face card page! I was looking at it on my iPad and it rendered the last name below the first name and thought they were two different people.

I'm planning on using this mini for Lonjiku Kaijutsu

Anyone found anythign good for tentamort? I'm leaning towards darkmantle for now from DDM

Did there used to be a metal version of Gogmurt in the Reaper line?

Yeah. That is what I used. But, I am open to ideas about something better.

Cheers,

Is Jaagrath Kreeg the same as Hookmaw Kreeg?

Liberty's Edge

No, Jaagrath is the leader of the clan and Hookmaw's dad.

Liberty's Edge

Okay, metal minis from Reaper include:

spoilers, sweetie:
Dorella Kreeg
Scarecrow Flesh Golem
Hookmaw Kreeg
Shalelu Andosana

While there's plastic already Nualia the "Nualia & Erylium" set is nice for Erylium

Nessie & Big Bertha from HorrorClix are also pretty handy.

What I likely don't have, which look hard to find equivalents for are:

spoilers, sweetie:

The Hidden Beast
Black Magga
Omox demon
Shemhazain demon
Hound of Tindalos

No, but there is a new one as of Paizo Con.

"Nessie" that Mazra recommended would be perfect for the black magga. to bad it looks to only be large

Liberty's Edge

An omission in this list is Justice Ironbriar who does not have a plastic mini but has a metal Reaper mini (that I missed)

For Black Magga the tentacle minis might work best

personally I dislike metal minis. I don't own any. I've got hundreds of plastic ones
