IMM, how would speedy summons interact with sacred summons?
Can I summon my special friends as a swift action, and do normal summons as a standard?

I've gotten several complaints about the physical changes and the powers so here is the deal. If you want to remove the changes you can do so with a remove curse spell. That said if you remove it you are removing ALL of it, the bonuses too.

Just to be sure, we lose the change (in Adular's case claws) and the good powers that come with it (No sniktbub stabby) but we keep the mythic tier so I'd still need to update Adular on the Hierophant path, right?
Correct youll still get the mythic tier but you won't get any of the bonuses from the claws that you have now or would have gotten in the future.

No chance of Variel being attracted to Dhaavan unless he alter's self to look like Rain. Sorry he has shared a cabin with Dhaavan for too long. Dhaavan snores and talks in his sleep. Also there was a disturbing habit of when Dhaavan would snort a smell of brimstone permeated the air.
I would much rather have Rain than Dhaavan.
You'd need to remove them unless you want to keep recycling pairs of gloves lol. The exception would be if you got magical gloves that we could say channeled the energy. It would have to be a custom item. Not sure of the cost. As for underwater they would work similarly to fire spells, i.e. you'd make a roll and if successful they would create light and superheated scalding water/steam.
Custom gloves for Variel - Custom shirts, coats and armour for Rain and her wings. ;)

I know others are clearly baffled on why Adular wouldn't want claws and really spikey toenails, but I'm grateful for the out given by our DM and I'm going to take him up on it.
I rped a summoning in the Social RP thread based on what he told me in PMs. I hope it has some entertainment value for folks, and it only felt fair to 'work for it' a little bit typing wise.
So, just Adular and Flynn wanting the mythic 'symptoms' gone then? :)
Np Adular and Flynn if you want the bonuses gone. I hope that you wont feel left behind in the future however if the others have powers you both dont.
oh, I may yet regret it time to time, but from both a player and character point of view, I think I'll be happier with it gone. It would have turned Adular angsty and that's really not how I envisioned him. It also would have taken away his swashbuckler look (limited though it is) and as I mentioned in a PM, I had a Draconic Sorcerer in an S&S game so there's also the case of overlap.
What would have come out, logically, would not have been the character I wanted to play.
In character, Adular would much rather hold Sandara's hand without risk of cutting her than having slicers at his finger tips for foes. After that, vanity and defiance would play their part as well. It would be like being branded to him.
I appreciate the spirit in which it was intended, though.

On the other hand, here's something to chew over - since this thing can be taken away with a simple "Remove Curse" spell, why not try keeping for a little while to see how it works out? You can always drop it later if you don't like it.
Also, you could pretend it's the new X-Men:
Rain = Angel
Variel = Cyclops
Jiro = Mystique
Dhaavan = Jean Grey (because he can pretty much control anyone with his Diplomacy Check)
You = The Wolverine
Horatio = Colossus
Arguably I'd prefer to play Tony Stark - but at least I'm not playing The Thing ;)

On a more serious note, I should be done with Variel's armor and Dhaavan's shield cloak. Anyone else have upgrades they need me to work on? Wealth wise Adular and Dhaavan have the most and would probably be first in the pecking order. If not then Variel is going to break down the Tidewater Cutlass to a basic +1. It will save me some cash and the ability is nice but no longer too useful as the bonus is only +5.
Oddly I'm not a big fan of Wolverine. Guys victim of his own overhype. So nah.
@Variel, thanks for the compliment on the summoning post in the RP thread.
Obviously if the DM ever wants to use that creature again for a repeat in future stories he's welcome.
And I think I'm glad the Remove Curse has been cast just so the matter is settled and folks can let Adular move on. He knows his friends mean well, but the attempts to get him to keep the claws were starting to take on a "RE: Your Brains" vibe by Johnathan Coulton :D

I'm trying to decide between Marshal and Hierophant. The latter is the more obvious for cleric, but Ana maybe taking that and while doubling up isn't a cardinal sin, I wonder if we want as much breadth as possible or not.
As a druid there are a lot of good heriophant abilities that are very strong but are about the companion and wildshaping but not so much about healing. There's also excellent offensive and healing powers and casting or channel related powers.
So the real question is about what Mythic Path abilities will complement what you want a Adular to do best
For Adular I would definitely go Hierophant. The powers we will be selecting are different enough that Ana and Adular will still be vastly different.
I made mention of this to Jiro via PM... but I'll note it here for you guys, too.
In downtime and when Jiro can take the helm from Rain, the pilot will be practising using her wings and flying. It's going to become a regular thing, like Rain's practice each morning with her weapon/s. :)

So depending on how much of a calming influence Rain will be on Variel in regards to Pierce if might be a good thing if Bariel does not notice Pierce before the rest of you do. It might get ugly and you might have to screen Variel from certain situations.
Good thing Variel has a poor perception modifier.
