Kaidan campaign setting Kickstarter (Japanese Horror) has launched.

About $500 shy of adding another 32 pages to the Player's Guide, with a few hours to go.

Now's the time, jump in before you miss out!

64 pages will make it a squeeze to fit all our intended player options, as well as a PC's overview of the setting, but if you want player options, then we have to get that $400 before it's all over. I want player options so let's do this!

Funded at $9133, which is $367 short of a 64 page guide, but we'll see what we can do for something more than a 32 page guide.

Very happy, and very surprised at having what we'd gained in the end.

Despite the long wait on the print production schedule, we will have other supplemental releases at the completion of the setting guides design period, including at least 3 Way of ... faction books with class options, at least 2 In the Company of... for Korobokuru and possible our own version of Kitsune. Plus I have a series intended as pre-built encounters for a possible monthly release, with maps, NPCs, monsters, statted items, haunts, hazards, etc.

So there will be plenty of Kaidan, until the final release of the print books and PDFs.

Ancestral Relics should be released in the next month.

We've got products for you, just have some patience.

I am working on getting these to the members via a link from DriveThruRPG, as I wanted it to be one download rather than 9 separate downloads. I will make this available by level through kickstarter starting at the top Daiymo Tier ($200.00) .

So I am going through and polishing up "Up From Darkness," the first adventure we are going to produce for some of our backers, and I remember one of the reasons I really like this adventure: 10 foot poles are mandatory for success.

Okay so it's been a bit over a month since the Kickstarter was successfully funded and I'm an old man (32 winters!) so my memory's not what it used to be. What are the conditions that must be met to get one's grubby hands on the bonus module Up From Darkness? A certain pledge level?

Yes, those who pledged $40 or more will get a complimentary copy of the adventure. Otherwise its $4.99 here at the Paizo store.

Excellent. I was going to buy it but then some bells started ringing. Any solid ETA on the complimentary copy? I've been pressganged into GMing a late Halloween game tomorrow.
