Trouble tracking down trip errata. Truth trumped-up?

Advice

I remember hearing somewhere that there was some kind of errata saying that the trip weapon property now adds a +2 bonus to trip attempts made with the weapon. Is this true or was the person I heard this from full of baloney? Does anyone have a link to this errata?

It almost happened, and developer Sean K Reynolds is in favor of it, but it got shot down.

Sad. Not official, then, but solidly in: "ask GM for reasonable houserule" territory. Good to have the facts; thanks!

You can, however, add your trip weapon's enhancement bonus to drag and reposition maneuvers in addition to trips. Just in case you didn't know that little addendum... it's from a blog post, so is easy to overlook.

Aye, what WRoy said. And besides being able to add the weapon's enhancement bonus to your trip maneuver, if you have the Weapon Focus feat with the weapon you're using, you can add that feat to the maneuver bonus as well (and any other appropriate weapon -> attack feat you have).

Sczarni

And you can drop the weapon if your attempt fails by 10 or more, rather then fall prone. (I believe)
