Here is a human knife master rogue I made (though I was thinking on picking up some ranger levels)
Magran does not have fond memories of his homeland. Ever since he was a child he was trained to become an assassin as a subset of the Vudrani warrior caste. He was taught not only how to fight like an assassin, but how to think like one too. Magran’s grandfather trained him, and was not at all forgiving of mistakes. The idea that every misstep, every miscalculation would get him killed was hammered into him daily. Magran hated this life and made his mind up to escape at age 14. While young recruits escaping training was not unheard of, it was exceedingly rare, and the punishments were always brutal. His trainer had hearing like a bat, and knew every stealth trick in the book. Not to mention the difficult time he would have even if he did get past the man. So day-by-day, he grabbed up all the knives and daggers he could, he stored rations and anything useful he could find for his big escape. When the time was right, Magran feigned a mistake by intentionally making a misstep while training his feet to sneak past would be adversaries. Grandfather struck him harder than he ever had before. Magran swore that the room started spinning, but as he was down on the floor and the old man commanded him to get up, he drove a dagger in to the foot of his grandfather. The scream attracted attention, but it bought him time. Time which he used to go down the preplanned route, and out the window, before sneaking through the docks and stowing away on one of the ships. That day was the happiest day of his life. As the ship sailed away, he caught a glimpse of a tiger, and he decided that animal would become a symbol for him. His training was useful in surviving his new life and staying a step ahead of his former teachers. Eventually he managed to rob, sneak, and kill his way through Taldor for a couple years before, finally hearing of a place called The River Kingdoms; A place where any man could form a kingdom. This appealed to his newfound confidence. When he got out of his teen years Magran joined a group of River Kingdoms pirates under the name Grand Tiger, after killing one or two of their ilk. As a pirate he dressed flamboyantly, and managed to maximize his potential through his banditry. This became his life, and images of his homeland began to slowly fade away, save for that burning image of the tiger he saw as a boy. He managed to keep this up for many years despite his band not gaining any real notoriety. Finally, after 10 years on the run, the authorities started to catch up with him, but not the ones he feared. Through other bandits, he heard of news of an expedition to the Stolen Lands that involved recovering them from bandits. Since the people running this thing weren’t asking too many questions, he signed up in an attempt to avoid his imminent hanging.
Magran masks his uncouth ways with a layer of civility and rich clothes. He’s a flamboyant, arrogant pirate lord, true to the stereotype; however it is a kind of fake arrogance, driven by a deep seated feeling of inferiority. This is why Magran has an intense need to make he feel important. When the occasion calls for it, he can be quite charming for a man that thinks little of slitting throats. He became numb to such actions from a young age. Despite this, he makes sure to make nice with the beautiful people. When dealing with women or those who seem like nobles, he lays on the flattery nice and thick. Magrin is a young, dark skinned Vudrani man in exotic, colorful clothing decorated with all kinds of baubles in an attempt to mask his armor and pair of blood stained katar (punching daggers, a longtime favorite weapon of his). He wears a turban and keeps his beard braided, as this young man aims to impress with his appearance and grandiose titles.

Still divided between this one and the more gritty fighter/ranger I spoke about earlier, even though I really appreciate the mix between a fiendish heritage and being a paladin all by itself. I do have a background in mind for him - ranging from having been rescued from the sewers of Westcrown, tutored by a Paladin of Iomedae that died in the most dire of circumstances, while simultaneously Telderen found his calling, a vow made fpr making a difference, and his travel to the Stolen Lands. Haven't had enough time yet to put it all down but I'll try getting into that as soon as I can.

Order of the Blue Rose (Ultimate Combat), Cavalier (Standard Bearer {Ultimate Combat}). Have taken part in two other Kingmaker Campaigns which always seem to fizzle out about where it sounds that this one is at the moment. I have played him as a Vanilla Cavalier (Order of the Shield), so converting him back to that shouldn't be a problem if preferred.
What point value? I think he may be a 25 point character at the moment, but I can adjust that fairly easily as well if the background meets with your approval. Please note that while his background does indicate a strong tie to the Aldori, he is not one & I have no intention of him being one.
