It seems that Ninja and Samurai did not make the favored class list? I am assuming they could use the rogue and fighter favored class features. It seemed strange that gunslinger made it but those two classes did not...any thoughts?

RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32

Ninja and samurai are alternate classes of the rogue and cavalier, respectively, so they use the favored class options for those classes.

Scarab Sages

That's an interesting point. If that's the case, would a Halfling Antipaladin be able to add +1/2 damage to his Touch of Corruption ability as his favored class bonus?

I don't think you can replace the ability in your favourite class bonus description for whatever your archetype/alternate class has, if it doesn't have the same ability.

May be true, but you could possibly home rule it. Shouldn't be too hard, especially for an Anti-Paladin, who practically is "Anti-Paladin" (Everything they have is the opposite of a Paladin IE Smite Good/Smite Evil, Cruelty/Mercy, etc.)

Could a Ninja then use the favoured class bonus the rogue has to get extra ninja/rogue abilities? Just want to be sure I'm understanding that correctly.

One would assume a race with a natural affinity for holy magic would have members of the race who can take that same affinity and pervert it equally as well.

The world's greatest doctor is probably also a hell of a torturer, if they wanted to be.

Well yes, you could also houserule Fighters to have wizard spell progression.

That is not to say it's absurd to make such a houserule, but as soon as you throw houserules into the mix it becomes irrelevant what the rules actually state or intend. There is no need for discussing it at that point.

Yes.

Scarab Sages

Sweet. It's like an evil, divine magus that can also inflict status ailments.

Well, i stand corrected. At least about this specific point, but in general unless an archetype's or alternate class's replacement class feature has this rule included in it, it won't work with others.
