Hello evrybody, I was thinking of trying a dwarven fighter focused on cleave since the new dwarven stuff from ARG seems all related to that feat tree(well... almost).
So what kind of build would you suggest?
I'm obviously using a dwarven longhammer (great damage and gives reach) and Cleave/Greater cleave/Power attack/Furious focus/Goblin cleaver/Orc hewer/Cleave through.
What else to use to optimize this kind of character?
I think having reach and being able to move by 5 step if first attack connects and then unleash cleaves on all enemies in the threatened area to be pretty good, but maybe I'm just fooling myself. Opinions and ideas on this kind of character are very welcome!

I still like the dorn-dergar, with a feat you can switch from reach weapon to normal reach as a swift action. Deals 1d10 medium.
I'd suggest a level of living monolith for a swift action enlarge person 3/day. Possibly 3 levels of ranger (picking up cleave as the style feat, using infiltrator to pick up a limited use of lunge).

basically if you want to play a cleave character you should have combat reflexes, a reach weapon, power attack, cleave, great cleave, cleaving finish and improved cleaving finish. then with the new cleave feats that make targets dexless after you initial target would only make you more likly to hit more targets. i mean play a 2 handed soldier or phalanx soldier archetype and you're golden.

Do many of you find the Dwarven cleave feats helpful? I'm working on a barbarian and considering investing the Cleave lineup, but I'm not certain that cleave is worth it, given its various restrictions (can't use full attack, targets must be adjacent, etc.)
Do you all find the Dwarf racial cleave feats to be worth investing about half a barbarian's feat allotments?

Dwarven boulder helm lets you attack adjacent targets while wielding a reach weapon, and gives a bonus against critical threats to boot.

Hey Sober Caydenite, I looked up the Dwarven Boulder Helmet up In Advanced Race Guide, and I see no mention of letting you attack adjacent targets with a reach weapon. Is there another version or did I miss something?.
It gives you non-reach weapon that doesn't use your hands. So you've got your two-handed longhammer, and then when they get in too close, you headbutt them. You can also bullrush them right back into your threatened area. If your bull rush is good enough, you can get an AoO against them. You should also consider going disruptive-spellbreaker-shatterspell. Spell sunder is a fantastic ability for martial characters, and now fighters can get it.
