So when Hyrum, John, and Stan! are busy, and I go crazy and run a sale (like the current "Sorry You Can't Make It To PaizoCon" 50% off sale!), I normally use that opportunity to get feedback from our patrons. The opinions and ideas I am so kindly given have lead to the development of some great products from SGG. While we haven't managed to get a new print book out this year (sometimes business plans don't survive contact with reality), feedback from these sales polls lead to The Genius Guide to the Godling Ascendant, Ranger Options: Knacks of Nature, The Genius Guide to Fire Magic, and #1 with a Bullet Point: 13 Witch Hexes (along with some products still in development, and others I'm not thinking of right now).

And, of course, I provide free pdfs to those who are kind enough to respond!

So what do I want to know this time? Well the Summer of Bullets event is going very well, and we're releasing Bullet Points faster than ever before! So far the subjects I've chosen to cover seem popular, but there's a lot of summer left, so...

What would You Like To See Bullet Points Cover?

Reply with your favorite bullet point (if you'd like to see more of the same), or an idea for a short subject that could be covered in 1 page of bullet-point text, by July 15th. I'll keep track of the votes, and write some BP to cover popular topics. Meanwhile, everyone who posts can send me an email (owen@supergeniusgames.com) or Paizo-message with a PDF from June 2012 or earlier, and get a copy of it for free! (One pdf per person, but feel free to post your opinion often and loudly!)

So, shoot your mouth off!

More stuff for fire magic will be awsome! As for the bullet points, I do enjoy the feats for spells and would love to see a bulletpoint pdf done for:
Desintegrate
Fear
Invisibility
Thunderbolt
Darkness

I'd like to see some pretty awesome fighter feats when they critical hit, things like cleaving a guy in half (insta kills at half life with successful hit/power attack) or beheading, or Disarm (literally, arm chopped off and lost weapon)....something to that effect.

Gory gory bloody ugly fighting.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!? kind of stuff.

I agree with this. More spell-focused bullet points would be awesome. I could imagine there could be several neat ideas for Telekenesis, off the top of my head, for example.

With ARG now out, how about Bullet Points with alternate racial traits and racial subtypes for both Paizo's featured/uncommon races, as well as other fan-fave races from 3PPs (like SGG, Alluria, Dreamscarred, Rite, etc.)? Heck, you could even use the 0 HD races in the Wayfinders. :)

I like the Magic Missle and Cure Light Wounds feats. I agree with the request for more spell focused bullet points.

You stole my idea!

Oh well, gmta, or so they say.

Now I have to come up with something else.

I do recall hearing about plans for some other 3pps to do similar things, but that's all I'll say.

Definitely would like to see more Racial traits for races, similar to what the ARG has done! Particularly for the races that didn't get as much attention as the others! Maybe one bullet point product for a single race...that way you could do multiples!

Or even menus of racial traits that could be used to build custom races with the RP values...particularly for monsters that are "common" but not covered in the ARG.

Or...0 HD examples of races that weren't in the ARG but would be done like the sample races in the race building section. Like Minotaurs, Trolls, Bugbears...

Let's see, some of these could be feats or just handy advice.

Bullet Points for:

Archers
Unarmed Fighting (not necessarily monks)
Animal Companions
Familiars
Ranged weapons that are not bows or crossbows
Survival techniques
Tips for using the Craft and Profession skills
Siege strategies
Channel Energy
Clever uses for Orisons and/or Cantrips
Swashbuckling

I'm sure I'll think of more later!

Dark Archive

* More non-fire based evocation. Fire always gets the best spells. THERE'S OTHER ELEMENTS, DARNIT!

* Now that I'm playing a Time Thief on the side... MORE TIME THIEF STUFF!

* With the ARG out, I suddenly realize that SGG races/classes need the ARG treatment: Piper alternate race traits, for example. Or a follow up to the Expanded Favored Class Options featuring races from the ARG

(this is all entirely selfish. My Time Thief is an Ifrit and has zero favored class options other than the std hp/skill unless I want to steal from other races, which my GM frowns on ["it's in the book, or it doesn't exist" mentality at play])

EDIT: Wow... I was so excited I didn't even see how many people already had that idea. They Ninja'd me. Does it still count as getting Ninja'd? They did it so fast they traveled through time! (like... a... time... thief. Get it?)

See "Races of Hoof and Horn". I just toss out the Asterions background and use them as 0HD Minotaurs

I also would love to see a "trollborn" template.

Definitely seconding some favored class options for non-standard races.

Some more options for melee characters beyond "Check out this new weapon/armor" or "feat that lets you do what you always do but a different way/causes a minor side effect/do it better".

Illusions! Let's see some crazy stuff you can do with illusions beyond the basics in the spell descriptions.

All on my mind for now, be back later perhaps =)

Maybe if Owen does Illusions, he can also explain to everyone exactly how they work, and what figments / glamers can and cannot do...maybe that's too big a can of worms.

Something for low to mid level staff wielding wizards would be ideal for me maybe rules or feats for making rudimentary staffs that can only cast cantrips - 1st or 2nd level spells but can be created much earlier at a moderate cost. Or possibly feats that grant benefits to spells while holding a staff or when the bonded item is a staff.

Because the lack of reason for a wizard to carry a staff until he's at end game seems to fly in the face of fantasy wizardry imo.

Interesting...

:)

Favored class options for non-standard races would be greatly appreciated. I would appreciate them more if they were odd ie Goblin Paladin.

Dark Archive

Maybe something to recharge staffs quicker would also be nice (or recharge staffs for free?)

On the point of Staffs, I'd like to see a POINTS on staff feats, traits and types.
From monk, to fighter, to wizard; more reasons to see the lowly staff on the tabletop.

New races? Intelligent gorillas, insectoids, minotaurs, a tiny fairy or pixie race. More details on some of the subraces from the APG like tundra elves or aquatic elves.

There is a Bullet Point that had the Mangani a race of intelligent Gorrillas check out the Bullet Point 3 Simian Races.

I think a Bullet Point featuring a Racial Archetype or two for any race you can do would rock in my book.

I would like to see more stuff like The Genius Guide to Rune Staves and Wyrd Wands myself.

How about...

Tainted Spells (typically "good" spells corrupted for "evil" usage)
Animal Companion feats
Familiars
Elemental Spells outside of fire getting the feat treatment
Something Piratical (why not, everyone has at least one pirate release right now, lol)
Feats designed to enhance summoning spells
Feats designed to enhance divine spells in the same manner as you have been doing for arcane magics.
More love for the Cavalier class

and yeah, I was thinking Bullet Points throughout all of these

Another thing I would like to see is a random table of when magic goes wrong. Sorta like what you did with Argonax the Mad, but for spells. It would need to be a optional rule but it would be neat. I always felt that was one of the things missing from DnD/Pathfinder. For now I plan to use Argonax list slightly modified.

Grippli alternate racial abilities,
Grippli feats,
Grippli weapons,
Grippli archetypes,
Grippli PrCs,
Grippli magic items,
Grippli spells,

Just about anything relating to the Grippli would be cool.

(Note, I'd do this myself, but I'm a tad swamped these days, pun intended)

YES! I second what the sexy succubus said.

Yep, #1 with a Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races has the mangani, shift, and wukong in quick-and-dirty write-ups. Thanks for the plug!

We could work on it together, and call it The Two-Handed Grippli

:D

(On a serious note if this week's Super Genius Presents goes well, I'm certain to do more for other races, with or without Bullet Points as further support.)

The Secrets of Forgotten Magic Items though not SGG, is a very good spiritual successor (you owe me for the shameless plug, cheapy!).

But yes, anything that takes a bland spell-in-a-can item and turns it on it's head gets my vote!

The Genius Guide to Outsider Archetypes? I could sink my teeth into something like that.

Goblin Paladin
Half Orc Socialite (charisma skill based rogue)
Gnome Berzerker
Ifrit Mistcaster (water magic, get it?)
Aasimar Shadowblooded (ooo... Aasimar Necromancer?)
Dwarf Battledancer (ok, that one's a joke caused by picturing a dwarf in a ballet tutu)

EDIT: though that name wouldn't work since Outsider has very specific implications in PFRPG

Yep I got that one, but I don't think there can be to many such things. More variety is better. :)

Maybe variant summon monster and summon nature's ally lists? (accessible with a feat?)

The scroll mishap section of the rules can be useful here!

Liberty's Edge

More Loot 4 Less.

More of your archetypes series.

Animal companion bullet points would be kinda neat.

Heck, 3pp class bullet points would be pretty sweet. (I love it when 3pp support one another's ideas.)

In that vein, Taskshaper Ascendant!

Or if that's just a dream how about an ascendant type book for time thieves / time wardens?

Undead and/or necromancy themed bullet points (beyond the undead feats, which I already have) would be cool. (Something to make liches the feared beasts they were in 2nd edition would be nice, I haven't been impressed with liches for a while. Maybe like salient abilities from Ravenloft. . .)

Some kind of "seduced" evil kinda feats, meant for only the most debased of fallen heroes. (Maybe to go along with your line of totally overpowered feats?)

What about like random plot hooks, like 4 - 5 tables and you roll on them to come up with your plot?

What about a SGG to 2nd hand magic items (just spitballing a name there). They could be subtle defects applied to magic items that reduce the cost.

Armiger Talents
Animal Companions
Magic items that do weird random things (rod of wonder for scaling levels perhaps?)
New Combat Maneuvers. Not really something you can fit on one page.
Unarmed Strike Feats
Improvised Weapon feats
Goblin Feats (love playing goblins, but not hobgoblins or bugbears)
Magic Items for classes that don't really use weapons/armor traditionally
New rage powers
New uses for weapons
Racial favored class levels for your genius guide to "X" classes. Could even release one for each of the Core races and then one for the other races covered in the Advanced Race guide.
I'd like to see more Super Genius Guides for new core classes too.
Some new feats for defensive characters would be nice, as I love tanking

Just a few thoughts

I'd still love to see some sort of Genius Guide to the Kitsune project. I'm also still praying for a collaborative printed book on the Godlings to happen; its easier to get my players to use an option if they have a printed version of it, and I absolutely adore the godling.

Perhaps a Wild Magic product? It could have a Wild magic bloodline/mystery/domain/patron etc. Wild magic effects as mentioned above as a request, and some specific spells. (kind of like taking inspiration from the 2e wild mage in the tome of magic)

In that vein, Races Revised: The Kobold Kings has favored class options for kobolds of every class, including every SGG class.

It's a really neat idea for BPs too, of course.

Stuff I would like to see:
Templar abilities and orders.
More hell-fire stuff.
How about doing "knacks" for a spell less paladin? Could be more Templar abilities too.
Inquisitor Judgements.
Death Knight alternate abilities.
Bullet points for Psionics Unleashed.
Goblin stuff.
More racial abilities for the race builder in the Advanced Race Guide.
Bullet points for Way of the Wicked.
Channel Energy bullet point.
Ninja stuff.
Anti-paladin stuff.
Monk stuff.
More Traits.
