I'm trying to decide on a PC for the Grand Convocation. A 14th level skill deprived heal-bot cleric (who's fun to RP, but has spent 14 skill points..) or my 7th level skill heavy archaeologist who's fun to RP and has the skills to back it up, but, uh, runs from most combats.
I haven't done one of these things before. Any thoughts?

I'm in the same boat. On one hand, I'd like to play my 9th level Rogue, since I'm trying to get him retired in time for Labor Day weekend, and could use the extra XP from the Convocation.
On the other hand, I have a fresh level 1 Tengu Inquisitor with some fun RP capabilities that I'd like to score some fun boons for and use them over his career.
Decisions!

It does ... they've said that there will be a chronicle for 1XP, I believe.
Let's see ... <searches> ... Ah. Yes. Mike said it HERE. Gotta love a season finale. ;-)

Not a season finale. A finale for the Grand Convocation that has direct results on a season 4 scenario. The season finale is 3-26.
And, yes, the Grand Convocation finale will offer 1 xp.

I've been having a similar dilemma Kyle. Do I play my post 12 character for a chance to play them? (Also a low skill cleric) or do I play a low level character to give me lots of time to show off whatever shinnies are available or do I play my most flavorful character Farak, the Most Powerful Mage in All Absalom, even though he's level 10.

Wizard... WIZARD!?!
How dare you.
I assure you that not even that pretender Throne is a wizard.
I feel sullied just having my name used near that word, let alone be called one.
Oh, go hide under a rock before I throttle you! (Intimidation roll of 58)
Them wizards are always so uppidy!
