Hey! You are absolutely welcome to join in if you would like. The tables we run at the Griffon are open to anyone regardless of previous experience with PFS. There are plenty of people who would be happy to answer any questions you may have about Pathfinder/PFS in general as well.
And speaking of PFS, it's time to wrangle the schedule for the next session!
Saturday, August 23rd @ 10AM EDT at the Griffon Bookstore:
High Table: The Harrowing (Continuation from previous session, Tier 8-10)
GM: William W.
Mid Table: Decline of Glory (Tier 1-7)
GM: Volunteer Needed!
Low Table: Frostfur Captives (Tier 1-5)
GM: Volunteer Needed!
Please let me know if there are any questions or if you want to give running a game a try! Thanks!

You may want to consider continuing to post on this thread, as people from South Bend and surrounding areas will be more likely to search for 'South Bend' than 'Northern Indiana.' If the South Bend thread hasn't been updated in awhile, they may assume PFS is no longer occurring in the area.
I can understand wanting to combine the two overlapping areas in one, simpler thread, but I don't believe it will serve to direct new people to the South Bend game as effectively as this current thread does now.

Yes, actually! I was planning on submitting to reserve tables for PFS at Game Con, but I was waiting to set up a Warhorn page first (currently in progress). They have 3 time slots (9-1PM, 1:30-5:30PM, and 6-10PM) that could accommodate PFS scenarios. I wasn't sure of interest, but I was estimating maybe 3 tables per time slot?

We also have the Fort Wayne facebook and warhorn set up as "Northern Indiana" ...
and have links to Lightspeed and Griffon on the warhorn

ALL THE WEBSITES!!?!? (J/K, I'll peruse them later this weekend...)
In regards the the Game Con, I am now formally putting out a call-out to all prospective GM's out there! Based on what I am seeing from the website, if you GM for at least 1 4-hour slot, you will get into the Con for free (I believe it is normally $10 for the day). If there are any requests for any particular scenario as well, let me know! I will post a tentative schedule on the following Warhorn: https://warhorn.net/events/gamecon-2014-pfs
So far (if Mark still wants to GM) if have Slave Pits of Absalom on deck. I was thinking some of the later Season 5 scenarios, perhaps?

Here is what I am thinking for potential scenario schedule for Game Con:
Slot 1 (9:00 AM-1PM):
#06-01: Trial by Machine (Tier 1-5)
#5-14: Day of the Demon (Tier 3-7)
#05-10: Where Mammoths Dare Not Tread (Tier 7-11)
Back-up Table: First Steps Part 1 (Tier 1)
Slot 2 (1:30-5:30PM):
#06-05: Slave SHIPS of Absalom (Tier 1-5)
#5-13: Weapon in the Rift (Tier 5-9)
#05-17: Fate of the Fiend (Tier 7-11)
Back-up Table: The Confirmation (Tier 1-2)
Slot 3 (6-10PM):
#05-22: Scars of the Third Crusade (Tier 1-5)
#05-99: The Paths We Choose (Tier 3-7)
#05-20: The Sealed Gate (Tier 7-11)
Back-up Table: The Glass River Rescue (Tier 1-5)
Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions? Too many tables? Too little?
Irish202 |
Also, proposed schedule for the Griffon this weekend:
Saturday, September 21st @ 10AM EDT at the Griffon Bookstore:
The Emerald Spire: Tower Ruins (Tier 1-2)
GM: Irish202
Voice in the Void (Tier 1-7)
GM: Volunteer Needed!
The Golemworks Incident (Tier 5-9)
GM: Volunteer Needed!
I will be out of town for most of this week, so I will not be very on top of poking the local GM's to run tables. Assistance is appreciated!

#06-01: Trial by Machine (Tier 1-5)#5-13: Weapon in the Rift (Tier 5-9)
#05-22: Scars of the Third Crusade (Tier 1-5)
If you need me to DM 2 of them or 3 I can.
Also just thinking you might want to get a 4th table for the second slot since that is when most people will probably be there. Just a thought.

The bolded ones are tables I still need GM's for. I can fill in tables as necessary, but I'll need some help for the afternoon and evening slots! Also, a reminder for those planning to play that day. You will have to sign-up for table spots on the Game Con website in order to reserve a seat, so be sure to do so if you are attending! Let me know if there are any questions!

In case anyone wants a shortcut ... here's the link to the game signups for the convention. You have to make an account with them. They ask for your address and junk, but you can just put gibberish in and it'll take it (since it's not a "secure" https site).

If you want to be totally awesome and GM things 'n stuff you should totally tell Sean so he knows he has (even more) helpers. ^.^ You get in free for GMing! Who knows ... we might even bribe people with brownies or cookies.
