Lem what do you think of halfling zombies?

That there's a necromancer or creepy priest out there who need his or her tendons severed.

On a more practical level I guess they're at least easier to outrun than big-folk ones.

Dark Archive

Do you find it hard to outrun zombies?

Depends on how fast they are. So usually no. Besides I only have to run fast enough that they can't catch me before Kyra or Seelah shows up and smites them.

Strangest place you've ever woken up?

A barrel in the hold of a fishing boat from Skrata.

I have a monk friend who had much the same experience.... Was yours filled with pickles and brine too?

Ice and squirrels. *shudders* They're crazy, those Irriseni.

Shadow Lodge

Do you know any masterpieces? Are there any that you would want to learn? I'm a fan of Triple Time, myself... It makes running away easier.

I've not learned any masterpieces so far - I prefer to keep my learning as broad as possible.

You should probably fasten some buttons before you do that...

hey Lem, questions:

1: did you know that ALain the GErm made his own ask him things thread?
2: have you read it?
3: would the tale of sir robin fit as Alain's theme song???

What is your opinion on the musical stylings of Tom Waits?

1 & 2: I saw that, but I think it may actually have been an impostor.

3: Not really. Alain's a bit of a blunderhead, and he's about as boorish as a bulette in heat, but he's not a coward - as he proved that time we met an actual bulette in heat.

Needs more wind instruments.

Also, What's he building in there‽

My guess is that he's building a downtown train so he can hoist that rag down Heart Attack & Vine while he makes it rain, because God's away on business ever since the piano's been drinking.

...That might have been a little much, but I'm hoping it introduces at least one person to Mr. Waits' music.

Anyway, Bon Scott or Brian Johnson?

I'll have to blame ignorance on both of those, but I'm sure they could do with some halfling flute playing - there's nothing that's not made better by that.

Well, perhaps arias sung by Shensen - she's pretty good all on her own.

Dark Archive

Lem how do you feel to now be the go to guy for maps?

Pretty good - it beats being the exemplar for resurrection spells.

How many times have you died, on that note?!

Dark Archive

Lem, where you really a ghost at one point?

Ofelio wrote:

Not as often as the people doing the art-orders would have you believe. Let's just say I could teach that Sean Bean a thing or two about playing dead.

ulgulanoth wrote:

Nope. Although I suppose that could be a good prank...

Have you visited any other planets besides Golarion? If so, which ones? If not, which would you like to visit?

None as yet. So I wouldn't know until I get there.

But one with lots of short people would be nice for a change. I'd like to know what being tall is like.

Dark Archive

Wait, you saying that none of your iconic friends have ever cast enlarge person on you?

Nope. And that'd not be the same, anyway.

Do you sunburn easily?

Sex, drugs or Rock and Roll?

Bergi Kauflebaum wrote:

Nope. And if I do get sunburned I can always sing a quick cure song - usually Friday I'm in Love

One and three, please. Drugs are for alchemists.

Lem, at the risk of getting smacked upside the head with a Lute, what's the strangest place you've woken up in?

What's the strangest thing you've woken up next to?

Which item would you prefer? A flagon that produces an infinite amount of your favourite alcohol, or a Bag of Holding that can hold and preserve food forever?

HalfOrc with a Hat of Disguise wrote:

The Maelstrom. Avoid it at all costs unless you like the idea of sprouting gills on dry land or getting a moustache beneath your toe-nails.

Quote:

A Narn. Which is weird, as they don't even appear in this universe.

Depends on how easy I can get hold of the thing I'm not choosing.

...also: *smack* Got your hat!

*Turns into a dark-green half-Orc* NOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm hideous! *runs out of the thread, bawling loudly*

Dark Archive

Lem of the outsiders, which is the best company? and the worse?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Best: Probably Azatas. They're big on wine, dancing, and song.

Worst: It's a tough choice, but probably devils. No sense of humour, and they seem completely incapable of original thought.

Oh don't be like that. I'm sure Imrijka would consider you very handsome, or something.

Favourite muse?

I take offense to that second one. Though I suppose my sense of humor might be rather dark and dry, it is very much there.

And many of my thoughts are original, simply highly organized. And those that are not original are vast improvements over the original thought.

strayshift wrote:

I'd say it's an even contest between Euterpe and Thalia.

Liberty's Edge

How did you escape cheliax?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

With arsony, a quick wit, some vegetable stalls, a barrel of port, and the help of some flowery friends.
