LOL - great little article on the Alexandrian

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a novel written using the English language. It was written by J.K. Rowling, who has also written several other novels.

As far as the novel goes, it has a nice cover featuring a picture of Harry Potter on a broom. It wraps-around fully and even goes onto the inside flaps...

Very amusing. :)

I think if people are concerned about the format that an rpg product review takes they should step up and leave reviews themselves.

We are very happy with any written reviews we receive. Significantly moreso than anonymous ratings.

I'm delighted when anyone takes the time to review one of Raging Swan's books. I'd second Purple Duck's comments - don't like the format reviewers use? Write some reviews and use a different format!

I agree with one of the comments in that the reviews for RPG's need to be different than the reviews for Novels. I find most reviews very helpful.

Frog God Games

It's still funny, and I don't find it to be derisive towards the format at all, simply pointing out how amusing it would be if that format were applied to non-RPG material.

Very funny, I don't think the OP was trying to hammer reviewers. Text is such a poor way to convey humor.

Ha! Very funny. I don't think it was meant as an attack, so y'all need to chill out.

I for my part consider the text amusing - and yes, I agree that RPG-reviews, mine included, do feature some formulaic pieces of information that might make them less fun to read when compared to book reviews. However, I also feel that this information is crucial, at least it is for me. So, in all - got a chuckle out of it, thanks for posting the link, Carborundum!

Well, there are always "binding is coming apart, artwork is so-so, 1/5 stars!" reviews - I'd love to see such a review of Shakespeare or Twain. :)

I sure could've used a map when I first tried reading Huckleberry Finn (aged 8). I still would've given it 2 or 3 stars then. Now I'd make it a 4 almost turning into 5.
