I have a ninth-level witch who could benefit greatly from the addition of greater invisibility to his repertoire. I have my ninth-level feat slot open, so a feat would work, and I also have about 23,000 gp so an item would work too. Right now I'm leaning toward a Staff of Stealth from the APG, but I wondered if people had other suggestions before I commit to that. Thanks!
The closest a Witch can get to Greater Invisibility on her spell list (short of DM allowing it through research) is the Mislead spell, gained from the Trickery patron. Since part of its benefit is havng Greater Invis for round/level. Of course, it's a 6th level spell, so you won't gain it till level 12.
But other than that...yeah, Use Magic Device + magic item is the only way to go. Or an ally to buff you.
They can't see you when they're sleeping.
