Is "Cheliax, Empire of Devils" good for Pathfinder rules play ?

Advice

I'm considering running a game in Cheliax, and I was wondering if the crunchy materials in Cheliax, Empire of Devils are appropriate for a Pathfinder game (as opposed to a 3.5 game).

Is anything overpowered or broken ? Have you successfully used some of it in your own games ?

Thanks for the info.

A good rule of thumb for this sort of thing is to see what the Pathfinder Society allows.

Thanks, I didn't know that.

Silver Crusade

If you do that, though, keep in mind that the PFS has some requirements that aren't present in home games (like the "no crafting" rule). So don't just look at what the PFS bans, but think about why they banned it.

Point taken, Uriel222.

They do run an AP in cheliax, so there's a lot of material you could peruse before hand. I have faith in the writers to have addressed that issue before placing it available to the general public. That being said, there's always a way to abuse something, just call 'em on it when you think they do.

We used Cheliax Empire of Devils in the Council of Thieves AP, nothing in it is over powering. It is a very good source book for that area of Golarion.

Silver Crusade

One thing to keep in mind, i believe in the article on Asmodeus, in one of the Council of Thieves AP books, there was mention of Asmodeus supporting Paladins. This has since been "erattaed" out. So the Big A has nothing to do with paladins, well other then tempting them, tweaking their noses and making their lives difficult.
