Weapon Training (Thrown Weapons) and the Throwing Enhancement

I haven't been able to find an answer on this anywhere, so I figured I'd throw it out there and see what everyone thinks.

If you have the Weapon Training class feature and select Thrown Weapons, and then get a +1 Throwing Longsword, does that Longsword gain the bonus from Weapon Training?

By RAW it appears no, you do not. Despite being able to be thrown with the aid of the throwing enhancement (or the Throw Anything feat for that matter), a longsword does not belong to the fighter's thrown weapon weapon-group. I can easily see a GM allowing otherwise however.
