Anyone else notice that Lissa's avatar switched to the goddess of cleansing flame around the time this swarm started demanding her attention?
Clearly another Paizo employee needs to switch to an Asmodeus avatar and construct some sort of quarantined area to confine this spammer.
The reenactment of the Godwar has already started! It has to be finished properly!

Yes, and as some of the spammers seem to be posting about what may be taken as breeding, surely we are seeing the followers of Rovagug here.
Seriously, I know that this is hard work. I have a friend in Phoenix who did a radio show and worked hard to keep his board free of spam one weekend while he was out. It is not easy.

Woot! Got that one in 12 minutes. Yes, to be fair, I always wanted Sarenrae because my first game was an arabian nights setting, people have known me as SunshineGrrrl forever, and... well fire. But originally the Sarenrae and Kyra avatar were already on the boards as public so I had to wait until we got a great pic I could use. ^_^
Now if you could only redeem the evil spammers and turn them toward good, we'd be set :) We really appreciate your hard work in keeping this place clutter-free, Lissa. I figured a word of thanks would make your unenviable task a little better :D

I have to admit, the fact that the bot is telling people not to call the guy advertised without any reason is kinda cute. In a brutal, horribly uncomfortable sort of way.

It was reported 12 hours ago, but the Paizo staff's all off enjoying the holiday weekend; no one ever went in to delete/ban. :P

The question is, and this might have been asked before, why you don't just block all posts with telephone numbers? I mean all these posts have some keywords and numbers in common, it should be fairly easy to recognise and autoblock these accounts. If you guys record the IP, it might even be possible to block an entire IP range. Having to do this by hand always introduces a waiting period and relies on people to flag it by themselves. And i think most of those keywords and especially the phone numbers would make for a pretty strong blocking reason, without affecting pretty much anyone else.
Is there a reason you guys are not implementing this?
This is war! I have just spent almost half an hour of my time deleting and suspending spammers and I didn't even get everything. Me thinks we need a bigger weapon to deal with these guys. Now they have made me MAD!
I believe a number of "bigger weapons" have been suggested earlier on this thread and on related threads.
