Help with party composition

Advice

Hi guys,

This sunday i will be joining a pathfinder campaing and i need some advice on what class should be the most usefull for my future group.

We are a big group, 6 player + the GM, and so far we got:
A Barbarian
A Paladin
A Bard
A Cleric
A Magus

I will be making a lvl 6 character with 25 point buy.
Any sugestions?

Looks to me like a full caster would round out the party well, I'd go with Wizard, Witch, or Sorcerer. Wizards are super versatile, especially if you choose the Arcane Bond ability which lets you spontaneously cast one spell from your spellbook each day. Witches also have a good deal of versatility and are great debuffers thanks to their Hexes. If you want to go more specialized, go with a Sorcerer because of the bloodline arcana and powers.

A rogue is probably your best bet. That is unless the group's okay with letting the barbarian go first and setting off all the traps.

Liberty's Edge

I don't think a Rogue would be a good idea assuming the bard picked up the slack and took all the necessary rogues skills. The sneak attack damage isn't really needed since the group is already melee heavy.

Cartmanbeck is spot on the money. A full out spell caster is optimal, how ever an archer couldn't hurt. Fighter, Ranger and Zen Archer are the key physical range attackers.

If you insist on playing a rogue, try making a Halfling Sniper. Focus on stealth, take the trait swift as shadows. I would take Skill focus stealth. Using these in concert you'll be sneak attacking every time if you win stealth rolls :).

That is not enoucg information.

-is a archer paladin or a melee one?

-the bard would do a lot of fighing or he will be more focused in spellcasting? or maybe he will be an skill monkey?

- is the cleric a battle cleric, a suporter, buffer ,debuffer or sumooner ?

An Arcane full-caster is the one thing that group is missing. Do you like playing Wizards and Sorcerers and such?

Ranger for wilderness, maybe a druid.

Hunters Bond + (Feet)Boon Companion

Without knowing the details, this is what I see:

A Barbarian - Martial Striker, Tank-like
A Paladin - Divine Tank, Secondary healing
A Bard - Party Support, Secondary Arcane Utility, Skill Monkey
A Cleric - Divine Utility, Primary Healing
A Magus - Arcane Striker

Unless your party bard isn't the skillful type there's really only one role that hasn't been filled: Arcane Utility. Sorcerer, Witch, or Wizard are your best options. Wizard/Witch are very diverse, but you've got enough arcane allies to really have some fun with the Sorcerer.
