Vampire's energy drain

Rules Questions

Is it correct that a vampire's energy drain offers no save or is it an ommision?
Thank you.

Thank you.

You get a save against energy drain 24 hours after you're affected by it. I can't recall the formula for how to determine it with monsters with certainty, but it's a Fort save of 10 + 1/2 monster's hd + Charisma modifier IIRC.

Thank you.

You don't get a save when it happens, and the level drain is temporary. 24 hours later, you get to roll a save, and if you blow it, the level drain is permanent. If you make the save, the level drain is reversed and all is shiny.

Thank you for your answers.

Hey , i would like to ask if a vampire with whirlwind attack can apply negative levels to more than one target. The ability says it can be triggered only once per round. Example : At Carrion Crown a vampire spy (Giovanni) lvl 12 has whirlwind attack and can use lunge to increase its range making it possible to hit multiple targets. Can DM apply energy drain multiple times per round?

Posting for reference:

A creature hit by a vampire’s slam (or other natural weapon) gains two negative levels. This ability only triggers once per round, regardless of the number of attacks a vampire makes.
Whirlwind Attack wrote:

Benefit: When you use the full-attack action, you can give up your regular attacks and instead make one melee attack at your highest base attack bonus against each opponent within reach. You must make a separate attack roll against each opponent.

When you use the Whirlwind Attack feat, you also forfeit any bonus or extra attacks granted by other feats, spells, or abilities.

It only triggers once per round, no matter what, and that means only one opponent is affected. Note that this applies specifically to vampires. Other creatures with energy drain may not have that restriction.
