Rules Questions

You'll have to find an earlier printing of the core rulebook, it used to be on page 562. Check the errata and you will see that it has since been deleted.

No there is no Automatic Opposite...

Now I would have to look, but in most cases it is true...

Example where it is not true

6th level Spell Energy Immunity

The target of a wordspell with this word effect gains immunity to one energy type (acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic). The target still suffers any other side effects that might accompany the energy damage.

here is the Actual Monster Immunity Definition

mmunity (Ex or Su)
A creature with immunities takes no damage from listed sources. Immunities can also apply to afflictions, conditions, spells (based on school, level, or save type), and other effects. A creature that is immune does not suffer from these effects, or any secondary effects that are triggered due to an immune effect

What he is refering to is Weaknesses which is a different story. Now on Average if a Monster has Immunity to Type A then it is normally weak against type C... So you could say Most of the time it does but not all the time. A normal NPC rather than a full fledged Monster would not have the weakness.
