So what's the verdict?
Is it official? Meet and Greet on Thursday at ClaimJumper?
Yes, let's make it official.
Meet and Eat (informally) at Claimjumper, in the Redmond Town Center, on July 5th, 2012.
Meet in the Saloon (bar) area, starting at 5 pm. We'll hang out there, and when folks are ready to eat, they can form a group to go eat together at a table, and go get on the list for getting seated.
After dinner, folks can return to the bar and continue to hang out. A small group may cut out to go to Black Raven or Malt and Vine or Three Lions for more drinks.

Do you guys think there'll still be people there past midnight to hang with? My plane gets into SeaTac around 11pm on the 5th and considering driving time from Seattle to Redmond I'd be getting there rather late. Just wondering if its worth it to drive over that late or just crash for the night and get to the con bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning :)

I don't know that any prior "Meet and Eat" has ever run that late. But, then again, we've never had a "Meet and Eat" event quite like this one where we're mingling at the bar, getting a table, and then wandering back to the bar. So, who knows? Personally, I'll still be on East Coast time, so there's no way I'll be hanging around that late.

In the past people usually migrated back to the hotel bar and hung out for a while. The last two years I've actually played in some pick up PFS games in the bar area.

No. No, I can't. I know my limits. On the other hand, for those you heading to bed at 3AM local time, I'll be wide awake and ready to start my day. :-D

Oh, you're in the "6am is an actual time to wake up at" camp. ;)
In all truth, if I am up until midnight local, it would be close to my normal crash time anyway (typically crash between 1am and 2am and get up by 8am). And since 6am actually 9am as far as my internal clock is concerned when playing the time zone game, it of course means I will probably be in the "6am is an actual time to wake up at" camp while in Seattle. ;)

Actually, it's more like 5AM...which means I start shutting down at 10PM almost every night unless I'm burning the "midnight" oil trying to stay up later than that for some ungodly reason.

...which means I'll still have at least a 3-hour headstart on you. And that's even if I sleep in for an extra hour. :-/

which means you should sleep in for an extra 3 hours. ;)
Seriously though, anyone who can wake up at 5am and be coherent has my respect. Lord knows I can't. Now, I can stay up until 5am and be coherent, but that's a different kettle of fish. ;)

Woot, will see if this works with work schedule.
I'll mention that we went to Claimjumper after the father's day brewfest and it was *packed*. The Desert Fire next door is never very busy if you need overflow, we ended up over there.

I'd like to mention that there is a bar near by call the Celtic Bayou that is fantastic.
We used to go to the Celtic Bayou a lot but between their food steadily going downhill(except for the hushpuppies which are truely awesome) and the cover charge on most friday and saturday evenings, it became less and less of a thing. Good selection of beers though and open later than malt and vine. I could never recommend the bayou fair but the celtic fair was always pretty tasty if you decide to go, except the last two or three times we had the stew and it was terrible.

Their Sheppard's Pie and cajun pasta are my faves but you can't eat the pasta the day of. You have to let it sit overnight.
And the beer selection is outstanding. ^_^
As a resident of the area just pointing it out to the beer lovers.

The original fellows that opened it (some fellow 'softies) are long gone. I think it's on it's third owner at this point. I stopped going as much when the original owners left as well. With Malt&Vine, Black Raven, and Three Lions around, my beer needs are amply satisfied. :-)
Speaking of which - sad to say I will miss the M&G. Well, as sad as someone can be who's out on a boat in the sun with margaritas. I have to enjoy our 10 days of summer while it lasts... :-)

Yay, it's official.
I was thinking of a color that would denote us all as Paizoites (Paizoans?) so Green just seemed semi-common but distinctive enough to use as a group color.
(The beer will be flowing like it's St. Patty's day...)Anyways, I'll be there in green...The Party has arrived.
As luck would have it, I wore a green shirt to work today, long before I ever saw this suggestion. Good choice!
