Liberty's Edge

I'm checking it out, so far there's a few mistakes (like saying a gnome gets extra dex at the 29:30 mark) and a bit that's easy to misunderstand (I thought you all said explosive arrow was a feat, I checked the feats in ultimate combat 3 times before realizing it was a discovery and could be gained with a feat due to extra discovery) but over all, its good quality and a good introduction to the class for people who might not be familiar with it.

And don't forget that I kept calling them infusions instead of extracts.

We did initially say that explosive arrow was a feat but then corrected that it was a discovery... thought I fixed that in editing... I will have to go back and check.

Liberty's Edge

I didn't even notice the infusions thing, I figured you were right to call them that, it sounded right. But honestly, there's going to be minor errors no matter what you do. More so if you edit minimally.

Dark Archive

Just listened to it today really enjoyed the insight into the Alchemist, to add to your Archer Build in Elves of Golarion there are Alchemical Arrows that might work nicely. I am going to give the Alchemist consideration when it comes time to make a New PC.

Starting to download the lot of them to get caught up and the episode on Eastern Gaming isn't available for download.

Liberty's Edge

I'm actually going to be playing a beastmorpher/vivisectionist in an upcoming campaign, so this couldn't have come at a better time. Sweet.

Ugh. Those archetypes should not stack.

One thing I noticed is that you say Master Chymist can't get Persistent Mutagen, and that's just not entirely true. You just need to take only 6 levels of MC and 14 of Alchemist.

Other than that little nit-pick, I liked this podcast. :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I will check out what is going on with the episodes that aren't downloading.

Sean

Edit: HERE is the direct link to the Eastern Gaming File. Looks like the link from the actual feed is working fine, but the link at 3.5 Private Sanctuary is not. Easy enough to fix, I will have Ryan update it. Thanks for bringing that up.

I've been catching up on my podcasts and finally had a chance to listen to the Alchemist podcast. It's a great podcast all around, and a great help in tweaking my character, with one small caveat....

I'm going with an Internal Alchemist for RP reasons, and when discussing the archetype it sounded to me like you were confusing it with the Blood Magus, an old 3.5 prestige class, which could mix potions internally.

As I'm reading it the Internal Alchemist archetype is based on the Eastern Taoist alchemists and their search for immortality, which is why he gets access to some of the Monk feats.

I'm not sure if you still watch this page or not. I just got finished listening to your Witch and Level Dip Guides. I really enjoy your creativity and the whole "re-skinning" ideas you have. I hope to hear some more great posts from you guys.

But a couple of things weren't quite right.

1)Witches can't extend slumber with cackle. It is still very powerful but not as game breaking as you guys made it sound.

2)The oracles' curse increases with both oracle levels and other levels/HD. Knowing that I think it wouldn't be such a detrimental dipping level i.e. barbarian.

I don't know if these podcasts were just old or outdated or you have another forum that you respond to feedback on but those discussion points really stuck out during your sessions.

Can't wait for more!

Thanks for the comments!

We do indeed have another forum, and would love to have you join us there!

3.5 Private Sanctuary

You're spot on in both cases though. I think we even mention the Oracle/Barbarian synergy in later podcasts, but we cleanly missed it in that one.

Is there an RSS feed for these? I'd like to subscribe to the show, but I can't seem to find one on the 3.5 private sanctuary page.
