D'oh!!! I've been prepping this adventure to run soon, too, and I hadn't caught this. For some reason, I was thinking the god was CE, not CN. Must be all the undead and talk about the end of the world.
Given that one of the PCs who might go through the adventure is a paladin hellknight who likes to smite both evil and chaos, this is relevant. I think I'll switch these NPCs to CE when I run it, just in case, though she's likely to assume they're evil before chaotic, so it might not matter anyway.

Never realized it myself. I've run the series a couple times. No one has asked, and or questioned this. Just treat them as a weird sub-sect of groetus. He is after all CN. So, him being evil in one area of the world may fit his overall lack of coherent scheme. At the least it'll prove an interesting question if someone asks.

I thought about it, too. My take was a cheerful, make-the-best-of-it attitude. "Hey, it's only the end of the world. At least it's not Monday, right? I hate Mondays!"
