So Mike's has a personal vendetta against me and won't let me GM at PaizoCon this year (something about not signing up early enough... pfft)

Luckily he doesn't control the days leading up to PaizoCon (yet).

I'll be in Seattle Wednesday night and will be free all day Thursday. Anyone out there have a death wish for their character and want to play some PFS? :-)

Pffttt...When was the last time you were in Redmond?

Yeah, I'm in Baird.

We have much to discuss.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

You could always hold a sign outside the PFS rooms that says "I will kill your PC for Food". ;)

I think I'm actually going to make it to PaizoCon this year. All I need to do is play Farak, the Most Powerful Mage in all Absalom and have Painlord do something to get him killed. It would be perfect.

I haven't booked transit/hotel yet so I could probably swing Thursday, but I'm still trying to figure everything out at this point.

Dark Archive

Let me say that this webpage...

www.nwpfs.org

will keep you all up to date on what games are happening where in Seattle up to and around paizocon ;p

I'm guessing since this will be my wife's first time playing Pathfinder, having her character killed in the first session wouldnt probably be the best of ideas for me :)

It could make it a long weekend.

Assuming we get in town early enough i'm in. Getting to play in a game with Painlord and get killed by Care Baird at the same time...priceless! ;-)

Bob. Are you flying out of B/N? The wife and I are leaving Wednesday and heading out. Frontier only flies MWF, but the rates were dirt cheap.

Grand Lodge 5/5 Regional Venture-Coordinator, Great Lakes aka TwilightKnight

There is always a chance I can't go at all (job stuff) but a few of us are actually talking about driving it. 3-4 rotating as pilot straight through to Redmond, approx 25-26 hours. Otherwise, not sure what my flight would look like. I might wind up flying to O'hare and then changing for Seattle. Most Midwest to Seattle flights connect through Minneapolis or Denver.

Sovereign Court

I'm flying in Wednesday night, so I could be up for it. I am assuming this would be after the Meet and Greet, yes?

Sean and I will be flying in from Wisconsin. we haven't hashed out the travel schedule yet, but i'm hoping that we'll be able to get into town early Thursday. if that's the case, count us in.

yes, Sean, i totally just signed you up.

I'm open to time, tier, scenario. Heck, we could run several games Thursday.

Grand Lodge 5/5 Regional Venture-Coordinator, Great Lakes aka TwilightKnight

All you sucka's should have Care Baird run you though Rebel's Ransom. Six players running level 6 PC's and playing up ought to work just fine.
*Key maniacal laughter*

Grand Lodge 5/5

All the VCs should not forget I'm taking them out to dinner at a swanky restaurant on Thursday night from 7-9 pm.

25-26 hour drive. That's Pathfinder love. I hope it works out you get to come out, RL stinks at times.

I'm in. You owe me a spectacular PC death anyway, right? ;-)

Oh Beerwolf, don't fear the Baird.

There are solutions to beating him.

Cake.

Heck, there is even a Guide to Beating Kyle.

Don't worry, we can do this.

Kyle may need to have a raffle or an auction for the privilege of getting killed at his table :-)

Stop trolling my thread! This is for people who actually play PFS, not those who used to play and now only talk about playing.

The Exchange

I wouldn't mind playing on Thursday night!

Interested players so far:

Painlord
BobBob Jonquet (not during the VC "fancy" dinner)
zylphryx (if it's not during the meet & greet)
thunderspirit
Joseph Caubo (are VL's going to this "fancy" dinner too?)

I'm thinking I could do a couple of slots... keep posting if you have interest, we'll keep working to nail down the table(s) as we get closer to July.

Liberty's Edge 5/5 Venture-Lieutenant, Alaska—Anchorage aka Dragnmoon

I will be there early enough to play, Though I am worried I will upset Kyle because he can't kill my PC... ;)

5/5 Venture-Agent, California—San Francisco Bay Area North & East aka Pirate Rob

It's looking more and more likely that I'll be available Thursday.

Only if the VC for their region is not able to attend PaizoCon, I believe.

/Must find a way to distract Kyle & Nani for an evening.

I will be flying in early from Va.
I am interested in a game.

He'll kill your PC or die trying!

Which just might qualify as win/win, depending on your frame of reference... ;-)

Ok. Beerwolf and the wife will be in. We have plenty of time to to create new characters after a tpk!

This would be fun.

I think we should all show up with high-level clones of his cleric and the dominatrix and break all of his encounters. muahahahaha

Just play whatever character you think you'd enjoy the most. Of course we're quite a bit away from July and the scenario is undetermined..

How about a nice game of #3-20: The Rats of Round Mountain—Part I: The Sundered Path?

Sovereign Court

I'll need to run some more sessions to get my "never been played" PC up to 7th level before July. Hopefully I'll be able to get him up to that point by then. Rimeskul the Anonymous will finally see the light of day (only to get killed by Kyle)! ;)

Picking a multipart so you can finish off the second half of the party later?

Lolz.

I'd be happy to play in that, but even happier to find a nice game with Beerwolf and wife. Part of the PFS fun for me is getting to play with new yahoos...and I think they are new-ish.

We'll see what happens, eh?

I'm telling my wife were now yahoos :)

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I believe I met you last year, Pain, but not sure we got to game together.

Consider it a promotion. Kyle's still waiting to be elevated above "pond scum." ;-)

The wife and I will be in town Thursday afternoon, even if there are no spots open it will be fun to hang out and meet everybody.

What better yahoo author for a table of yahoos being run by a yahoo GM :-)

Painlord wrote:

oooh oooh, I'm a yahoo...can I play?

I'm not sure what my availability will be on Thursday. We have the VC beatings, I mean meetings ;-), that night, but I think we'll be getting into town mid-morning, so maybe a noon'ish game?

I'll be in on Wednesday night, as will my buddy who's never played PFS before.

I may have *OOF* to show him *BLUDGEON* just how much fun *GASH* Society can be *GROAN*.

Now I just need to get my character to 7th. 2 months, eh?

No prob.....(crosses his remaining 7 fingers)

I think I'm going to keep the 6th spot for Round Mountain open for Slanky if he wants it. It's the least I can do. :)

Liberty's Edge

Here is how this game will go...

Dragnmoon - "Pain you can't do that, it is not legal in PFS!"
Pain - "But it is all about fun and that is all that matters"
Ogre - "Hey is there a chase scene in this scenario?"
Kyle - "shut the F up all three of you, you are all dead!"

Depending on what I am up to wednesday evening...I might be hosting a 4th of July party.

I'll keep folks up to date, but suffice it to say that I work in the fireworks industry. Where ever I am on the 4th of july...it will involve at least 1 ton of fireworks.
