Sable Company Marine: Feat or Archetype?

Rules Questions

Sczarni

So I'm pre-reading all of the Curse of the Crimson Throne books in preparation of GMing the Adventure Path for my group.

I noticed they have a feat titled Sable Company Marine which basically grants you a hippogriff animal companion.

When I refer to the PFSRD website I see that Sable Company Marine is listed as an Archetype.

My question is which book was it published as an Archetype in if any?

I also noticed that some of the weapons were later changed with the publication of the Inner Sea World Guide (Sawtooth Sabre & Bladed Scarf for example). My understanding is that the most recent publication 'overrules' prior publications in terms of what would be deemed official for PFS game...

Which brings me back to the Sable Company Marine - what is the most recently published version?

Thanks in advance.

given it was originally a 3.5 thing anything naming it as an archtype is more recent. I know it was mention in a paizo blog which is where it may have been done as an archtype. if you do a search on here you should find it.

Scarab Sages

The archetype was in the blog here on the website at one point. Sorry, don't have a link.

The archetype would be the "official" Pathfinder RPG version.

Here you go.

plot post

I know this post is dead, but it had me scrambling to see if I had accidentally made an illegal PFS character. The Sable Company Marine archetype is legal via the Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Combat.

Yup.

That book didn't exist when this thread was created.
