Similar to this old thread about "from Irrisen", I'd like to know the best adjective for "from Kyonin". Except in my case it's just for the Race field that now shows up next to aliases in their PbP posts. I'm thinking "Elf (Kyoni)" but I don't know, maybe it's just "Elf (Kyonin)".

Kyon? Kyoni is more correct but this is a fake world. Kyonic... hm. Kyoni is my favorite so far.

Kyonish. Kyonical. Pine!

I'm not sure what the "official in-house style" is... but assuming the editors asked, I would have said "Kyoni."

Thanks! I'm just fine-tuning a PbP character, not writing a free-lance submission, so I'll take it.

P.S. As always, I'm surprised and grateful to get a response from someone at Paizo -- no matter how unofficial -- since I don't expect it at all. 8)

Kyonese :P

Kyoninny.

Keebler

Damned frilly/prissy elf?

Kyonir

Kyonite

Elven

Elven is not very specific. There's the recent elves from a few thousand years ago (Kyonin, mordant spire, etc), then there's the elves still on their home planet (starts with an S). Then there's all the elves who stayed on golarion through earth fall (aquatic elves, mwangi jungle elves, drow, etc)

Edit: maybe mordant spire elves stuck around, but mordant spire and Kyonin were like the two major elven regions before earth fall, but Kyonin was mostly abandoned, so most of them living there currently are not the elves that stayed around

Kyon? Kyonan?

That sounds like it should be a radioactive mineral that has an adverse effect on elves, actually.

Or something that mega evolves your Kyoni.

High elven? Kyne? Kyonone? Knife-ear?

I see someone else has played through Second Darkness.

+1 to you (and this most accurate epithet), sir.

Actually no, I've just hated elves since reading the complete guide to elves back in the days of 2E.

Kyoninianite is clearly the most cromulent choice.

Horrible book. "Eldest Sons" by Paradigm Press is much much better.

I'm at the end of Second Darkness right now. Our entire party will never trust elves again.

Spoiler:
And had the drow left their genocidal rampage to only the elves and not the whole surface we probably would have just walked away a long time ago and let them do it.
