Some interesting notes: if you have a profile but those three fields are blank, then you get () next to your name like DM Barcas in this exchange. However, if you have no profile whatsoever, then you don't even get a ().
Also, this has nothing to do whether it's your avatar or an alias, as can be seen in this thread. There's Aranna as an alias with no profile and no (), and then Tirion Jörðhár as an avatar with character info.
I suppose that makes sense, for the most part. If I had one suggestion, it would be to lose the empty () after names that have a profile yet don't have anything in any of the relevant fields. There's no point to that punctuation.

Hmm, my group strictly uses the large text field since otherwise the predefined fields make the text-wrapping ugly. Otherwise a thoughtful addition for those who make use of such fields.
Yes, would love to see the page restructured someday so that it doesn't wrap. I usually don't use the fields for the same reason as Laithoron.

One GM I know of has suggested using those fields for AC, HP, and ongoing effects and conditions (sickened, bless, crane style, etc.), all nice info to have handy in a battle when it sometimes takes days to resolve a single combat round and you tend to forget what buffs you already have, and much more useful than race and class, IMHO.
