I have solved the Two-Gun Gunslinger Reloading Problem!

Advice

Behold the Vanara:

Perfect Gunslinger stats anyway:

+2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma: Vanaras are agile and insightful, but are also rather mischievous.

And then the key!

Prehensile Tail (Ex): All vanaras have long, flexible tails that they can use to carry objects. They cannot wield weapons with their tails, but the tails do allow them to retrieve small stowed objects carried on their persons as a swift action.

They have a gorram tail! You had switch weapons from hands as a free action anyway. So why not do a badass quick draw with your sweet monkey tail! ;)

Plus some nice bonuses!

Climb Speed: Vanaras have a climb speed of 20 feet.
Low-Light Vision: Vanaras can see twice as far as a human in conditions of dim light.
Nimble: Vanaras have a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics and Stealth checks.

What do you think?

me thinks they need two tails, one for each gun. other than that... they make me sad, as the only type of gunslinger i'm really after is a mysterious stranger, and they rely on charisma rather than wisdom.
just had a bad thought about how many limbs an vanara alchemist could rustle up (3 base, 2 vestigal, 1 tentacle = six feeking limbs... and two legs! someone is going to minmax this for some obscure rule, i can already feel it coming.)

but after all that... well done. i don't see any glaring problems with the idea.

There's already the Gundolon.

Shadow Lodge

The real solution....make sure that the bad guy is dead within 12 shots.

You forgot the one level dip into Witch for the prehensile hair hex too.

oops, my bad. not counting legs, that makes... what? 7 limbs? running around with a sword and six tower shields would look pretty rediculous, wouldn't it?

lol, this thread makes me laugh. I wanna see that build, FuelDrop.

i'll see what i can do. keep an eye out for it...

Why have 7 limbs, when you can have 32 limbs as a synthesist?

Challenge Accepted!

ok. 15 point buy.
race: Vanara.
Str: 19
Dex: 13
con: 10
int: 14
wis: 9
Cha: 5
Levels: Alchemist 2, Witch 1, Fighter 2
Feats: extra discovery, extra discovery, Shield focus, improved shield bash, dodge.
Discoveries: vestigal arm, vestigal arm, tentacle.
Hexes: prehensile hair.
Equipment: full plate armour, spiked heavy shield, 5 tower shields.
(on the non-raw assumption that shield bonuses stack. i know they don't, but this isn't a serious build by any stretch of the imagination.)
AC: (9 full plate, 1 dex, 1 dodge, 28 shield) 49. touch ac 12, ff ac 47.
encumberance: 295lb. heavy load.
ACP= -64
arcane spell failure chance: 300%

tactics: primary melee attack is to shield bash with spiked heavy shield. primary ranged is to activate prehensile hair and throw bombs. spells per day: ant haul (cast before getting dressed), feather fall from witch. infusions are left open, but ant haul is most common usage.

if you want something senseable then you may be looking at the wrong munchkin.

@Hobgoblin Shogun: sorry about the threadjack.

Why even worry about shield bonuses stacking? Just provide yourself a cover bonus from all four sides and top. ;P

true. i'm just trying to imagine this guy doing anything remotely practical (read=skill with armour check penalty) and realising that even the simplest tasks are going to fail horribly.

Turrets aren't supposed to have skills...
