The Exchange

Yes. He can. It's allowed by his Code of Conduct, and backed up by his alignment, which is LPM. That's Lethal Psychotic Man for you n00bs.

Are you sure?

I do not think that I should take your word on that.I need it explicitly spelled out in the rule book given a chapter all unto itself.

The Exchange

It's on page 28, under Smite Guy Driving to Slow in My Lane, and right above Boot to the Head.

The Exchange

Not only can he Kill on Sight, pg28 Chapter 3 under No-Class Features, but at level 12 he gains the ability to Kill with Sight. It's limited to the hopes and dreams of small children to start with, but it gains in power until he can crush the souls of all who love him by the time he hits level 20.

is that a gaze attack?

I'm going to hide from you from now on, considering the fact that I'm probably fairly high on your "to smite" list.

The Exchange

Yup. And an area effect at level 16. Page 30, Chapter 3 under Still Has No-Class Features. >;)

sounds nasty. what no-class are you? i may have to multi-no-class.

The Exchange

I have No-Class in a wide variety of ways. the easiest is just to take Moorluck as your No-Class. That way you never have to worry about accidentally doing anything Class-like.

Quietly considering the teachings of Saint Moorluck has never steered me wrong.

thanks for the tip. however, i'm thinking i'll stay with the FuelDrop unclass and try to hit the capstone ability. i recon i should make it by about 21 december this year...

The Exchange

Nor will it. Mainly because his steering wheel is broken, so he's kinda just rushing down hill out of control.

Killing on Sight the whole way down.

Fair enough, but don't blame me when you're not uber-optimized for on Sight Killing. ;)

I can't wait to see the epic rules expansion for this.

of course, it is already epic.

Killing on sight is for noobs. I can kill with a thought.

Sheeet. Moorluck doesn't have to think about it. In fact he never thinks, just ask his wife. It's another Feature of No-Class.

But can Moorluck kill off-site? And if he does, how will we know?

The Exchange

You will know when it happens by the sudden silence of the birds of the forest. Followed by someone screaming, "OMG Moorluck is Killing me Off Site!!".

N00b. Of course he can. He's a skilled contractor; he can kill in places that don't even exist.

He's a skilled contractor; you'll get his bill.

And if Moorluck sends you a bill, you damn well pay it. Even CNR pays his bills to Moorluck on time.

Does Moorluck's kill with sight means that he will kill his idea of Moorluckia by mearly looking at it? This would crush hopes, souls and wallets of those who invested their will and time into surrendering to Lord President Moorluck, Or is Lord President Moorluck lacking that ability?

it seems likely he can suppress his power. how else is he going to get laid?

Whenever I see Moorluck I wish I were dead. Does that count?

Apparaently your wishes are of limited power... That OR Moorluck gaze not only kills but also counters wishes!

Liberty's Edge

Is this "kill on sight" like one of those hippy "being nice to the food" thing where you kill them at the same place they grow? Because I don't go in for that sort of thing.

I'm planning on level-dipping in the Moorluck unclass once I get the experience points. If he lets me.

I'm thinking I need some levels in the Paris PRC myself. LPM only gets away with this because Paris lets him.

Dipping in Moorluck may also require his wife letting you do it... Uh, never mind...

... and then Moorluck fires an arrow to your knee.

The Exchange

got to watch that, because of the swarm fighter PRC he has, LPM goes out to hunt Mutants and is armed for it.

Mutant La Cucaracha, that is.

Which in turn would require that I be willing to let you do that.

Scarab Sages

I'm so confused. Can I take levels in the Moorluck Unclass and still be LawfulChaoticNeutralEvilGood? Will I be able to kick puppies? PLEASE TELL ME I CAN KICK PUPPIES!!!!

yes, but they're allowed to kick back. sorry.

Scarab Sages

NOOOOooooooooo..........

what does it matter? they do, like, one nonlethal damage per hit. you're undead, you're immune to nonlethal damage!

Scarab Sages

Tis the cuteness! It burns! IT BUUUURRRRRNNNNNSSSS UUUSSSSSSS!!!!

have you tried cute-away? it's what i use. here, borrow a tube for a while and see if it soothes those annoying cute burns.

Scarab Sages

aaaaahhhhhh.......

we undead should stick together against the forces of goodness and happy puppies. i'm thinking of forming a support group.

Note that producer of cutie-away takes no responsibility for any inflammations, skin-deformations, rotting, volatile or corrosive interaction between cutie-away and embalming chemicals, nor irradiation of tissue. Also, may contain nuts.

Scarab Sages
