We are doing well, just taking a little break from the holidays and so on. We will be ramping back up by the beginning of March.

Seconded!

Huh... ok... now this is puzzling: they have been off radar since December 2016 :S

maybe they need more team-ups and cross-overs?

Sorry, life happened. But we will have something for you very very soon. Since a lot of Remarkable Races got sifted into the previous books, they wont be in Submerged. So to take their place (there are 5 of them) we are adding the rules to play trueforms and planars. Very shortly we will be releasing Remarkable Races Submerged: Trueforms...with twelve new PC races, and three new trueforms. Then we will have (in no order yet) Kvol, Nelumbu, Aquatic Entobians, Chrysopsaro, and Sisiutl are the remaining translations. Then the planars will be the last. Last the main tome will be compiled. This is the plan for 2018. Wish us luck!

PS: We need artists that can work with our budget.

Remarkable Races Submerged: The Sisiutl on RPG Now

Remarkable Races Submerged: The Sisiutl available on Paizo ^_^

Also, the Nelumbu is the next product in line (via Facebook)

Finally, the aquatic Entobians and the planar races are next. How? When they announced that "they have great plans for 2018", they revealed their line-up, including these two races. "Planar races" is a rather vague term. The asparas, brothers of frost, genais, shazalarian tritons, hai nus and spirit folks would qualify for this booklet. We'll have to wait and see.

On a sidenote:
- Mogogols, Obitus and Zefs won't be getting a booklet, since they are described in the regular campaign setting books.
- Boogles will not be getting an aquatic variant. Then again, the aglooliks (Indigo Ice) are pretty close to being your "small-sized tech-savvy race" ;) The hitogoi (Celadon Shores) are also tech-savvy as well. I cannot help you if you were inclined at getting a goblinoid race though :P
- Xax will not be getting an aquatic variant... at all. The race wasn't the most popular Remarkable Races, unfortunately. So if you wish to play a radically different race, the oculi (Azure Abyss) is your safest bet.

The Nelumbus are now on Paizo ^_^

Ok, talk about going against the currents and swimming up the waterfalls, the aqua-xax is the race in line :)

We had no intention of making the aquatic xax, but then one of our design team pitched the concept and the art fell in our lap, so they popped into existence as the 13th race.

Funny you mentioned swimming up waterfalls, as the tome has a magic item that well allow such a feat, Bianchini's Ferry Token.

The aqua-xax is in final editing and we should see it soon.

Meanwhile the Aquatic Entobian and the Planars are both slowly creeping forward. I want the art for the entobian to be _just right_ so it's taking a bit longer, but it will be worth it!

The Marine Entobian booklet has been released on Paizo for a few weeks now, and it's a great work as always :)

Now... what's next? All 15 Remarkable Races have been converted into the Cerulean Seas setting (mogogols, obitus and zifs being featured as "standard" races in the setting). I've heard of a "planar race" booklet.

Planar Races could be intriguing. Higher/Lower Planes would very likely be similar to stock Aasimar/Tiefling. Elemental-kin, would be interesting too, especially forthose tied to the Fire plane. And if we could add Para- and quasi-elemental kins, I'd be happy. Positive/Negative plane, Astral and Ethereal planes are never done, that could also be a great addition.

Shifter Races could be fun too, explore a bit more the therianthopes of the Celurean Seas and how they interact with the moon.

Planars sneak peek on Facebook.

Curious to see what is covered.

Yep, just saw that :)

I'm wondering if, once all the Remarkable Submerged Races will be done, if we will get a compiled: Remarkable Submerged Races Pathway to Adventure: Compendium of Unusual PC Races as we did for the Remarkable Races (available both as PDF and POD on DrivethruRPG).

I do hope so as, for print purpose, I prefer to have all of them in one book.

Available at Paizo

That was a great run :) and kudos to the Alluria team for pulling this off ^_^

Now I was thinking...yeah bad habit...about familiars and animal companions.

The corebook and bestiary (at least) gives us a nice starting list of familiar, several are airbreather so makes it a bit trickier for deep sea adventures, but nonetheless the choices are sounds and I always loved a good challenge.

Paizo has also a couple good listing of familiars/animal companions that can be used to add choice and also adds the improved familiar list for some really interesting twist.

For the Celurean Seas, I was wondering if, at one point, it would be possible to have a small PDF, as a quick reference document with an extended list of Familiar, Improved Familiar and animal companion. Don't really need to go crazy, just a simple compilation as "official" choices (without removing the GM agency to expand or reduce said list) from Alluria's books and from Paizo's source (potentially add 3rd party stuff). With PF 2nd Ed. coming, odds are this list would be pretty definite, and being a PDF, it could be updated if needed.

So I'm looking at the Remarkable submerged Races compendium and notice that VIRIDIAN VEIL is slated to come out this year.

Any chance of a little sneak peak?

Greetings one and all. It's been a bad year for just about everyone. Alluria is still here, but projects have been put on the back burner to tend to the fire around us. Things are slowly reaching manageable levels, however. For 2020, we are releasing Marvelous Merfolk Compendium of PC Races for 1st edition Pathfinder RPG. Aside from a small handful of races that draw on material in Psionics Unleashed (Dreamscarred Press), this tome is intended to work with Paizo Publishing’s 1st ed Pathfinder RPG core books alone. Although the races can be used in the Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting (Alluria Publishing), this setting is not required to use this tome. In addition, this book provides optional mechanics for buoyancy, drag, water pressure, and water current to add a bit more realism to your aquatic encounters.
It should be available on Paizo shortly, and can also be found elsewhere (like DriveThruRPG). Next year, we are ambitiously looking at finishing the Amazing Ancestries line, as well as releasing Cerulean Seas 2nd Edition. Happy Gaming!

Liberty's Edge

Keep up the great work!

Looking forward to more Cerulean Seas... this year?!?
