Ah, well thank you still for the suggestion. That said-
1.) The Brawler is an awesome class in design and I know a lot of people love it/are going to love it. However it really doesn't click with me on a personal level- remove the mysticism from martial arts and my appeal for it really takes a nose dive.
2.) Fishman Karate is a racial martial art of the fishmen in the One Piece series. Although it's a little broader than I'm implying its big stick is that those who utilize it can use water as a medium (in the water works best, although it also includes the water in creatures and even the moister in the air for masters of the art) for attacks; those trained enough in it can even learn to manipulate water as a weapon though careful hand motions to create powerful currents and whirlpools, as Jinbei here can show you.
Obviously I'm not asking for anything to out there but a PoW style for water-based combat would rock. I already have an archetype kinda based off of monks for this, letting them use ki for a special style based of Jimbei- it's a big hit.

Question on the interface between the Cerulean Seas and Pathfinder material. (Wanted to get a response from a Cerulean Seas perspective. Figured this was the best thread to get it).
So in CS we have lots of merfolk, including Human-analogues, Halfling analogues, Aasimar analogues, Tiefling analogues, Centaur analogues and many many more. Where does Pathfinder's merfolk race fit into all this? With 3 stat bonuses and no penalties, I'm at a loss on how they relate, analogue-wise, to CS merfolk races. (Hey, I live on dry land. I need my analogues to make sense of it all)
Edit: no idea why my icon was changed to a little blue brownie when I never mentioned them.

I've started a Cerulean Seas setting discussion thread so this one doesn't get cluttered. I've already started it off with a question, so if you're interested you can find it here.

Hm... considering Alluria's already done work with one of DSP's lines, I wonder if a Tide of Battle and/or a Sea of Spirit (Path of War and Akasha) might be possibilities...
Several of the veils currently available in DSP's Akashic Mysteries playtest (including Whirlpool Lash, which when I originally wrote it up, actually disoriented foes) were specifically written by me when I was converting MoI materials over to Pathfinder for a Cerulean Seas game and was trying to fill in some gaps. So I (and by extension Dreamscarred Press) would very likely be down for a Cerulean Seas expansion exploring that idea a little more fully (though not for like, at least three more months, I've got a lot going on right now).

That would be genuinely fantastic.

I picked up my copy of Celadon Shores and it is another top quality product. I haven't looked through the whole pdf yet, but I am really liking the Godaikishi, which appears to be a elemental knight class that just oozes awesomeness. It has some powerful abilities that do things other classes can't, but it still feels balanced with a Paladin.
The Wokou didn't amaze me at first, but I'm coming around to the Fighter + Companion class combo after further reflection. The level 20 capstone is pretty underwhelming, but since capstones come into play so rarely, I'm not all that concerned. The menacing moniker from Intimidating Presence made me smile.
The Mambabarang prestige class makes for a very iconic bug caster.

Oh boy, talk about being late O_O
- They've released Remarkable Races: the Aquatic Anumi, which totally slipped under my radar.
- They announced the Morgen, the aquatic version of the Muse :D
- I'm now curious if they're going to publish a booklet about the aquatic obitu, the zef (aquatic zif) and the mogogol, considering that they're part of the main books.

Possibly in a compilation, if one is produced. I just got the first draft for the morgen, and I feel it's an improvement over the original. It's good to be back.

Inded it is good to be back with Alluria.

True. I wonder which race is next.
Huh... on Facebook, they announced the Morgen being the next in line for release.
After the Morgen? Hard to say, REALLY hard to say. It's anyone guess at this point.
- Entobians for aquatic insects
- Taddols for a hybrid between sea elves and sea titans (oddly enough, no aquatic ettin has been presented yet)
- Oaklings (Kelp-ling maybe) for aquatic plants
- Mahrogs for prehistoric sea folks
- Boggles for aquatic goblins (or southern Aglooliks)
- Kvals for aquatic imps
- Numistians for aquatic sea folk-like merchants
- Squoles for aquatic oozes and jellys (maybe the black Squole will be presented)
- Xax for aquatic planar beings from Lethe, the Sea of Forgetfulness
And of course, the Mogogol, the Zef and aquatic Obitu could all get a similar treatment.

The Mrawgh booklet is now on the Paizo store ^_^
On a sidenote, the kvols have been revealed to be the aquatic kvals. I... just re-read the Morgen/Aquatic Muse again and noticed this ;)
Oddly enough, while the mahrogs despise the boggles due to their fascination with technology, nothing similar is said about the mwargh. I know that the oaklings and boggles aren't too fond of the cavemen, but the description for the aquatic versions doesn't reveal what are called those variants.

Y'know, I've been thinking about something: after the aquatic Remarkable Races are all released, I really hope that we get another hardcover book which covers the Advanced Class Guide, Occult Adventures, Ultimate Intrigue and Horror Adventures.
- I... don't see the need for new races in this one.
- Classes just need to be adapted for an aquatic setting. Then again, the Kineticist would be an interesting case, because he could either select Steam (to replace fire) or mystical fire (as fire itself)
- Psychic magic would be introduced in the setting
- Intrigue rules could be added, especially to reveal the relationships between the different regions and races.
- The Horror theme would be expanded a lot. You think the abysses are scary? Pretty sure there's worst :P
- New monsters could be added, hopefully new undead.
* Dead from saltwater drowning
* Dead from freshwater drowning
* Dead from organic poison
* Dead from pressure crushing
* Dead from asphyxia
* Dead from drowning, but from having swimming limbs being cut
* Dead from over-fishing
* Dead from being charmed by a Siren
That would be nice ^_^
