Ki Points and Flurry of Maneuvers

Rules Questions

Normally a Monk can spend 1 point from his ki pool to make one additional attack at their highest attack bonus when making a flurry of blows attack. Does this apply to Flurry of Maneuvers for the Maneuver Master Monk subclass as well? RAW indicates that it does not - but I'm hoping that there might be some errata on this.

A combat maneuver is an attack, and if the ki point grants an extra attack then by RAW it should.
IIRC the FoM effectively replaces FoB, and by that logic it should work also.

A Maneuver Master monk may not make a Flurry of Blows attack, and therefore cannot benefit from that use of a ki point.

Now, I'd say talk to you DM and see if he's willing to houserule it; its not a huge deal, but it definately does not work by RAW.
